Ming-Na Wen is joining the cast of Joss Whedon’s ABC pilot Marvel’s S.H.I.E.L.D.

She’ll play Agent Melinda May, an ace flier and weapons expert, our sister site Deadline reports.

    Hmm... She was kinda a b--ch on both SGU and Eureka. Remains to be seen how well it turns out. On the other hand, it's nice to see some casting news for S.H.I.E.L.D, ANY casting news.

    I'm all for this casting!!!
    I think she's a wonderful actress, who ends up with so-so roles, so I'm very interested to see how she handles a Whedon character.
