  1. First "Modern Family" and "The Middle", and now this! Really great news. Thanks for posting.
On a side note, I can't keep track of all the comedies I love. There seem to be way too many!

  2. This is fantastic and unexpected news. Somehow despite the ratings this show has survived and its definitely a sign that Fox have faith in it.

  4. Yeah ! I guess 20th Century Fox producing and the prospects of syndication with season 4 have helped, but I like to think that it's also rewarding the quality of the show : any comedy where an old woman takes a bunch of cats in hostage is okay by me.

But the ratings of the show weren't bad either on the demo that matters : 1.7 - 1.8 - 1.7 for episodes 3.01 - 3.02 - 3.03. On Tuesdays at 8pm, in front of The Voice, NCIS & DwtS, with no support from New Girl this year, I say it's pretty great.

Well, now I'm hoping NBC will do the same to Parks & Rec (which the Universal studio is producing).

  5. how many episodes does a comedy require to reach syndication?

  6. The standard is 100 eps but I think that 88 eps is quite common these days.

  7. for some reason I always thought it was less for comedies, oh well

  8. Nice!
Granted, I'm a little behind in catching up with the show this season, but it's always good to see the network showing support for the underdog!
