  1. OMG, great ending! Was afraid they would drag that along especially with the rumors of writers/producers chickening out of Brody going boom last season.

  2. Yes OMG indeed. Terrific ending. Can't wait to see what Saul does and if he tells Carrie.

  3. Holy crap, what a great episode! i did not expect that ending! Now Saul finally will have to face the fact that Carrie, was right all along...and now somehow has to get her back into the fold w/o it sending her into another bp attack. I love Damian Lewis and its killing me he is playing Brody,i can't wait to see Brody go down...i feel so guilty saying that,ha!

  4. Amazing episode. I really love how Homeland isn't afraid to drop bombshells early on rather than drag them out to the finales.

I kind of had a theory after S1 that maybe Brody would end up helping the CIA and I think this could happen now that Saul has the tape. He may use it to turn Brody but until something major happens Brody won't be turned yet. I think he is very much on board with Abu Nazir's agenda still - but anything could happen to make turn his back on the whole crazy plan.

Oh and Claire Danes really has the Emmy for next year bagged already, when Carrie was losing herself again in the bedroom it was mesmerizing to watch.

  5. I guess though he will still not share this information with her to keep her away from the agency. He cares for her and after seeing her stunts in Beirut he might not wanna let her keep digging more into Brody.

  6. Yes he cares but he was also disgusted with her (before he knew about her illness).I think he is going to chance it considering she can get to Brody without him questioning it....at least for awhile..

  7. Saul is probably not going to tell her. As terrible as it might be she's not part of the agency anymore and this is classified information not to mention that if she finds out she's right she's probably gonna try to force a way in or try to stop brody herself. For her own protection it's best if she doesn't know.
I hope they won't drag brody's story line for ever and that he will be caught at some point. I think that if they catch him before he's completely turned they might be able to use him to catch nazir .It would be so much better than just killing him or sending him to jail or having him comit succeed and I wonder if the show would survive without him...

  8. Solid episode with a great performance by Claire Danes. The ending was great too. I'm wondering where they're going with Dana's (Morgan Saylor) storyline because I doubt Homeland would give her a simple boy-girl crush plot.

  9. I don't think that they chickened out of having Brody die. They said in an interview that Brody dieing was a possibility at one point, but they decided not to have that happen.
