    Fantastic ep with a lot of great moments: Nick/Juliette, Monroe/Rosalie, Hank/Monroe, and even Nick/Angelina... sad that Angelina died trying to protect Monroe and redeemed herself somewhat. Nice progression with the Capt and the new mystery lady (who was Esther the Original Witch in TVD) and what might be a new tidbit about what's going on behind the scenes - obviously the Capt is at odds with his family, but where does he stand with regard to Nick as the mystery lady is trying to take out NIck's allies? hmmmm loved the ep and look forward to seeing where this goes

    ..i am so sorry for hank he try to understand all the monster transformation but still make him very edgie,why the prince act so outside his comfort zone and the end very sad and powerful

    My biggest question is why the blond chick (Renard's ex) knows that Monroe is Nick's friend. I'm trying to wrap out how that piece of info got round the world. Let's see..the dudes with the scythes beat Monroe up, and their leaders are in France right? How connected are those guys to the Royals? Who sent the blond chick? Was it the Royals?


    Basically lots of interesting questions. Loved the scene with Juliette and Nick. I wonder if his admission that he was holding things back from her is going to push her further into her quest to find out what a Grimm is.


    And everything about Monroe's story was awesome. I loved the way they brought his ex back in.

    Jaime Ray Newman brought it all, she made the episode for me! Her dynamic with Nick was one of those things I never thought would be so interesting. Her scenes were Monroe were flawless and even her phone chat with Rosalee was hilarious. I would have preferred if they had kept her alive, she would have made for an excellent character that pops once in a while. Alas, the emotional aspect of the story was great for Monroe's development.


    Hank was hilarious! now that he is on the loop, he feels so much useful. Rosalee was great in her scenes as well, so concerned about Monroe (and their date was so cute!) I will miss her next week, hopefully Turner takes just a small maternity absence. I love that there's a Grimm team!


    The Juliette and Nick moments were perfect, and that letter at the end *swoons*


    So, sad about Angelina dying, it wold have been better keeping her on the rooster for future appearances Still, I hope this sets the trend of bringing past wessen once in a while.

    If we ignore the horrible wooden acting from Alice Evans(gods why is she still getting acting jobs, especially after the trainwreck that was her role in TVD), this episode was BRILLIANT.


    I am sad that Angelina died. She show managed to make an otherwise quite unlikeable character last season into a very likeable and interesting addition AND managed to make me care for her death. And that howl of Monroe's...oh gods, this is so depressing and awesome at the same time.

    Anyway, what I DO love is that Grimm continues to carry a right message of women being able to defend themselves and being capable and resourceful. Kudos for the rapist dying a gruesome death too. In the times when half the shows on tv have meek weak type of female characters who are not allowed by writers to do anything, but look pretty, the approach that Grimm uses for their female characters is refreshing and welcome.

    Missed the first half :(. Oh I'll be back after I see it. I came in when Nick points the gun at Angelina. Then the hilarious Hank-Monroe scene, Rosalee on the bus, the dead faint, Angelina's courage and then **sob**. And then Alice Evans walks in with mile-high heels and lipstick that doesn't suit her. I'm just gonna call her "Lipstick" from now on, because that's all I could think of while I was looking at her. I'm so looking forward to a rewatch tonight to find out what was going on and why everyone's talking about the sweet Nick and Juliette scene. C U l8tr.

    Hank, please ask how the wessen know Nick is a Grimm. It's killing me. Why are they avoiding this issue? Is it because the writers don't know themselves?

    Great ep! It was very entertaining, exciting, with story progression, character development, and the return of an important character from Season 1 and Monroe's past.

    Angelina - It was sad that Angelina died, just when this episode managed to make her more intriguing, rootable, and redeemable. I think Angelina should've survived this episode, so that she could recur once in a while. She was one of the more interesting characters on Grimm so far. Angelina was purely good or evil, but just a flawed person, who was passionate, loyal, and a 'wild card' in terms of the ambiguity of her character. Plus, I really liked Jaime Ray Newmon's portrayal. She was one of the better guest actors to have appeared on Grimm. Actually, I've liked everything I've seen Newmon appear in so far (ie, GH, Eureka, CSI:NY, even Eastwick, etc.). At least Angelina's death gave Monroe some good character development and closure.

    Juliette - I like the direction Juliette's amnesia storyline is going so far, as indicated in this episode. This episode gave me some hope that Juliette and Nick could forge a new relationship, that begins with her knowing Nick as a Grimm, and not having to accept that the old Nick she knew has 'changed' (as the past Juliette had to do). (Yeah, I know...the promo for the next episode pretty much put the kibosh in this idea of mine, with Juliette possibly getting a crush on Renard...Ugh!).

    Hank - Hank's development into becoming Nick's partner, not only in police investigations, but also in the Grimm world, is a great perspective to show. I have enjoyed Hank's slow progression and education into this other 'world', through the viewpoint of a 'normal' person, who also happens to be a police partner and friend of a Grimm. Now if the show would finally clue Juliette in as well, I'd have a complete 'picture' of also getting a girlfriend/lover of a Grimm, coming to grasp this new reality. THAT would make the show more complete to me.

    I also like the way Juliette's storyline is going. During Season 1 there were many complaints floating around the Internet about how Juliette was unnecessary, but I think her character is beginning to come into her own.
    I like all the main actors. David Giuntoli is doing great. That scene in the car where he hears for that Monroe is being sought out because he's friends with Nick, he played it heartbreakingly. Tulloch is all sweetness and emotion. Hornsby was fantastic in the scene with Mitchell, "Can you do that again?". My fave show.

    I'm vaguely remembering an episode where Juliette also showed her resourcefulness. Someone jumped through the window and attacked and she grabbed the boiling water from the stove to defend herself. I think there's hope for Juliette being a useful part of the group (she shoots guns, too).

    it was one of their best episodes yet I think, I really loved it. I was quite sad to see Angelina go though, I would have liked to see her recurring on Grimm on a more frequent way. But it was very powerful in terms of what it did for the episode. It was seriously perfect and I am curious to see if this will have any impact on Monroe's pacific attitude moving forward. Also, gold for the Monroe-Hank scene in which he explained him everything. I also loved the Juliette-Nick thing, I am shipping them more now than i did last season, to be honest, this was a good thing for them (though they should not let it go on indefinetely)
