Parks and Recreation - Season 5 - Christie Brinkley cast as Jerry's wife

erry Gergich (Jim O’Heir) may be the office punching bag, but his wife is a total knockout. EW has learned that Jerry’s oft-referenced-yet-never-seen-before spouse, Gayle — with whom he shares a lovely life — will finally make an appearance on NBC’s Parks and Recreation, and she’s being played by model/actress Christie Brinkley. (This goes a long way in explaining Jerry’s hot daughter, Millicent. As for how the Parks department’s schlemiel/schlemazel landed such a catch, perhaps it had something to do with last season’s big revelation.)

The three-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl and ex-wife of Billy Joel guest-stars in the season 5 episode “Ron and Diane,” which airs in late November and also features appearances by Megan Mullally and Lucy Lawless. Brinkley, who recently starred on Broadway in Chicago, popped up in the 2011 big-screen comedy Jack and Jill, and played a fashion magazine editor in a 2009 episode of Ugly Betty.

  1. I did not see that coming. I guess that's where Millicent gets her looks from.

  7. Jerry's wife is hot, this would be the perfect moment for Ron to bring up his scale of Human beauty again, how can Jerry who I'm guessing he would give a "4" get a "10" like that. I cant wait for everyone's reaction!

  8. She can't be a 10 on Ron's scale. She ain't Steffi Graf! ^^
