Once Upon A Time - Season 2 - Interview with Kitsis and Horowitz

19 Oct 2012

Was it Aurora's (Sarah Bolger) mother that Regina (Lana Parrilla) was referring to back in Season 1 who got the best of Maleficent (Kristin Bauer)?

Edward Kitsis: Yes.

Might we ever see that?

Adam Horowitz: We might!

Is there ever a chance for romance between Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and August (Eion Bailey)?

Kitsis: I would say that Emma is definitely going to have some interesting suitors this year, but August has, so far, been such a big brother to her that I'm not sure that those two are meant to be. But it's a TV show; you never know!

Horowitz: We haven't seen the last of those two together on the show.

  1. Aw, the Emma/August question made me sad since I ship it. Emma/Graham already got taken away from me, so little unhappy right now. But he did say that could change, so I'll hold out hope.

And all these spoilers sound pretty interesting. Can't wait for Sunday's episode!

  2. Hmmm. That Aurora question sounds like a really big retcon with so many princesses falling to the sleeping curse. That would mean it's now happened four times on the show.

  3. With so many princesses having problems I'm still waiting for someone to show up with a keyblade. Stop disappointing me!

  4. Don't know what they're talking about, I never for a moment believed Cora. I just didn't think they would introduce a character and simply kill him off right away.

  5. oh if this turned into kingdom hearts it would be a dream!

  6. Aurora, Aurora's mom, Snow... And who am I forgetting?

  7. I needed to think a bit too, but then I realized that we are looking for Henry as the fourth one.

  8. Ship them as well, but I'm not giving up hope. Also, they may seem a bit like siblings because of their history, but once that's settled, I doubt they'll feel like siblings... or at least that's what I hope ^^
In any way does Emma need someone from Fairy Tale Land. And IMO August would be a wonderful choice... but we shall see.

  9. Interesting to know Regina should be able to leave Storybrooke. This makes me think she might be connected to Bae somehow.

  10. Emma and August was the only het Emma pairing I found slightly interesting. I think Jennifer Morrison has much more interesting chemistry with the women on the show. But if they go for a het pairing with Emma, I'd prefer August over the other male characters they had her interact with so far.

  11. The most interesting tibid for me in this is that Regina can leave Storybrooke. Hmm, the possibilities. Wonder what that's gonna mean. And yes, give me Henry/Regina, I want to see that :)

  12. I thought so at first, but I think he would have objected to being called a princess.

  13. Sorry, three princesses and a kid (where the intended target was also a princess)

  14. Probably because she murdered her daughter's boyfriend even though it would hurt Regina so why would she even hesitate in killing a random guy?

  15. I'm more interested in the 'wouldn't be as severe'. Severe as WHAT? If the cost is only memory...

  16. I am still thinking that she belongs (in the end) with Henry father, because of 'what true love creates'. -But I do think it would be great for a more brother and sisterish relationship to develop between them. I have really enjoyed their scenes together.

  17. I didn't mind the Jefferson interaction. I kind of liked the horror romance thing going on there...

  18. That was referring to Emma herself, not Henry.

  19. Yes, but that doesn't mean that there isn't an element of predetermined fate in the Once universes. True Love, the most powerful magic of all, comes also from what True Love creates...So if two people who are "fated" to be together can have defy quantum mechanics, so can a parent and the child born of true love...This is why Emma is SO important to Rumple and why Emma could "break" the curse, because of her LOVE for her son, but it may suggest that even though Henry's father and Emma came together under horrific circumstances and that both of them may have many issues to work out, doesn't mean that their love isn't "true", because there is already proof of it with Henry...
