    Why bother?

    If it's one of the cast, it'd either be convoluted as hell or riddled with plot holes. If it's not one of the cast, it's just a random and the reveal holds very little weight. Might as well pan over to Lily's heretofore unseen assistant and have her be Kristen Bell.

    Wasn't it established by most of the GG fandom years ago that it wouldn't really make sense for anyone in the regular cast to be revealed as Gossip Girl?

    They have mentioned before that it's kind of like everyone is Gossip Girl but hopefully they actually give us a name and it makes sense with the continuity of the series. Like on Pretty Little Liars where it's the A team, it's likely some sort of Gossip Girl team lol.

    Probably going to be a minor cast member. I've always believed it to be Penelope but idk. I was kind of liking the idea of the series ending with us not knowing who it really is.
