  4. This is Awesome.
I have to comment on something that came to my mind and that I now can't unsee. Everytime I look at the 3 Observers near the end, I see 3 William Bell's. It's probably my imagination, but this is Fringe...

  5. It's not (just) your imagination...I thought they looked like WB too!

  9. Thanks.
I am from the 19th century and apart from turning the computer on there's not much I can do with it.

  11. Thank you, that helped a lot.

  12. Very interesting. I had totally missed the baby before too.

I hope we do get some Flashbacks.

  13. But the observers take control when Etta was 3 year olds (5 month and 1 day). I don't understand. Again my favorite show is messing with my mind.

  14. Great. Now I have the idea of a Fringe animated series in my head. It's just mean to get my hopes up like that.

  16. Totally agree!

  17. Well first off there are discrepancies between Etta''s dream (which seems to feature Peter's perspective) and Olivia's memory, which are one of the many things that suggest we have been in the middle of a time loop of sorts since the beginnings to middle of season 4. (meaning there was another similar future that already existed, but is being re-written as we go, until we reach a definitive branch off) as September already came back to start attempting to change it from that other future...

But we might get insight on missing years, or yet another future/past that doesn't exactly match...but it may give what's going on in general (including the actions of William Bell and Jessica Holt at the end of season 4 some clarity...)

  18. There are several actually! There is the first series that the A stories in the comics serve as serialized prequel of Walter and William Bell and secondary stories giing insight into the series...the next series, Tales of the Fringe has each issue's story A be a back story of each main character, and then second story just giving insights again...The last year Beyond the Fringe came out featuring a 3 part cannon story "Peter and the Machine" written by Joshua Jackson that extends The Day We Died and gives us insights into how many times, how many Peters have used this machine in several iterations of the time lines...the rest are alternate reality stories also hinting and giving more insights into our characters and plots...

  19. Can someone please tell me what the frak I'm looking at here?

Is the next episode going to be like the LSD one or something?

  20. Looks like the episode will be featuring a comic book specially

Fringe Division - Tenticals of Doom (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom SPOOF)
    NOTES:
-1-3 Red Universe "Indiana Jones - Hex of the Hydra ---> Hydra many arms or tenticals)
-Boy and people look like they have a disease that spreads over the body like a FUNGUS, as the boy looks similar to Aaron from "Alone in the World" (networking/coverging time lines/ dealing with DEATH)
    - Purple Lines (negative) = "purple time line" - previous/original time line -Episode my show missing piece from original and does not match amber history)

  21. Someone over at Fringe Bloggers called them the "oil-based crud people". I had to laugh when I heard that.

  22. I forgot to tell you Joel said episode 9 will be the equivalent to an episode 19! :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. That is what they look like!

    ReplyDelete
  24. It's funny, 'cause it's true.

  25. What a beautiful (and awesome) teaser! I love the shots of Walter!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Oh! Can't wait for the title! Wonder what they're going to do? (I can't of wish they would do like an epic fantasy adventure - just to kind of spoof Once and Revolution, and like ancient civilization classic films, but I am sure that's not what they will do!) What do you hope they do?!???

    ReplyDelete
  27. You know, for a couple of weeks people have asked Joel that question and even to Ausiello and they have always said since there are only 13 episodes their wouldn't be for obvious reasons,so i never entertained the notion...good question! I have to think about it,but don't get your hopes up,i think he just meant if an episode was to be like a 19th which would it be,hence the 9th? I'll get back to you on that one...

    ReplyDelete
  28. Ya...I mean seasons 2 & 3 were ways to look at things differently, where 1x19 and 4x19 were still filmed in the now, but offered game changers....I hope time travel is involved this time!

  29. In this BTS photo we saw that young boy reading a comic book, the same one that Etta was reading in official promo photos.
Could it be that Resistance made a comic about Fringe team and their fight in 2015?
Maybe that's how everyone from Resistance knew about them - they simply read about them. Even Simon said in LoT: "This is your favourite food. That's what they say...the stories I mean."
    ??

  30. I think it doesn't match either Etta's dream or Olivia's memory (as these two sequences also do not match each others'), as in the comic featured in this promo and most likely the comic in this BTS photo, Olivia is fighting Observers in gas masks, with BABY Etta (it can't be 2015 it would possibly be @ 2012)...That's why I think again this record of history has to also belong to the history of yet another previous time line (if they were attacked sooner, they would have been more prepared), possibly the original, as this promo uses "purple" out lines in a negative effect (negative is kind of like a ' blue print' of a photo ), as I always theorized that the red and blue universes once derived from a purple universe, before they split (mitosis) and made several iterations of themselves.

I think the recordist have this history (comic book form) for a reason as this amber timeline is in a time loop and is expressing multiple time line convergences (bits and pieces from many pre-existing time lines)...but I also think the physics is a little off to have this many differences, which is why I think the amber time line is a Bardo ethereal plane (like LOST's FS...)

    ReplyDelete
  31. I'm not saying that the comic is all true and that it presents how things exactly happened. It could be that they presented the story as some kind of legend (you can see on the cover of the comic in this picture that Olivia's fighting some kind of snake-like creature), like Grimms' tales or something like that, maybe to present how hard the Fringe team had fought against the Observers.
My first thought when I saw gas-masks was that the Observers were wearing it becuse the air was too oxygen rich for them.

It could be that the color represents the other timeline, especially the purple color. I agree with you on the 'original' timeline, but I guess will have to wait and see how it will all turn out :)

  32. The whole 2036 so far has shown us histories between now and 2015 that do not match, as Etta's dream (which seems to come from Peter's vantage point) is different than Olivia's memory of it...as Olivia experiences Occupancy Law (Building disappears) and Peter experiences time displacement (the event resets a few times) and Peter's shirts are different colors in each sequence...plus Etta swears she was four, when Olivia swears she was 3 and some months...We know that September had come back from some already existing future to warn Olivia and possibly change the future which should just result in being able to create a new one, but unless the there is some specific way to make 2036 act like an aftermath of Westfield, these transitions of differences shouldn't be so collectively smooth, as when Peter arrived in the beginning of season 4, there where more distinctive incidence where time displacement was in 'pockets' and easy to recognize, as a opposed to a natural state of being...

    ReplyDelete
  33. Well, Observers certainly caused some displacements with their time travel, but we don't know how much back their plan is going. Judging from what we know so far, they planed it from the beginning of the series (even before in their own timeline), but maybe they started implementing it when they erased Peter from time. The truth is, we don't know for sure, so maybe there are much more time displacements, and I'm hoping that the alternate timelines (and their existance) will be resolved in some way. I certainly don't mind not knowing everything, but I'm hoping it will be logical conclusion for the whole story.
