Early demo estimates likely to be adjusted :
Revolution 3.3
Bones 2.3
Partners 2.2
Hawaii 5-0 2.0
Mob Doctor 1.3
Castle 2.2 (will be higher in overnights before removing overruns then return closer to this in finals)
Gossip Girl 0.4
90210 0.5
I kind of hold some grudge against the CW for cancelling good shows, so I don't feel sorry when they get these lousy ratings. GG and 90210 should have been gone already. My opinion.
Veronica Mars should be in its 9th season and Ringer in it's 2nd. They chose to keep trash like 9021H0e, Shart of Dixie and pick up the foul looking Emily Owens and Beauty & The Beast - ahahahah, good luck during the rest of the season CW, you'll need it..
90210 had the ratings that warranted renewal last year, so I don't begrudge that renewal, even though I don't watch it. I actually respect the fact that the CW is willing to give a final season on GG to allow the loyal fans a real wrap up. Admittedly, I'm happy because it makes it that much more likely that they will do the same thing for my beloved Supernatural and they will allow Nikita to have a decent ending. Veronica Mars was cancelled so long ago under different management. That boat has sailed, even though I really liked VM.
I really like your post and I too admire the fact that the CW is willing to give their shows a chance even when the ratings are low. I really hope their new shows do well, especially Arrow tomorrow night so giving a boost, hopefully to Supernatural too.
I would just love for the CW to beat the big networks for one night. Every underdog should have its day! :)
only in the 8pm hours, Arrow could easily premier bigger than NBC if Animal Prcatice and Guys With Kids continue to do badly. TVD could beat NBC's Up All Night and 30 Rock combination given how low they are, its possible but we shall have to wait and see how strong TVD comes back.
At the moment I just care about Castle's ratings on mondays. It would be a crime for the show to be cancelled in the first season during which they are together. A CRIME I say! *in a very over the top way*
I'm glad NBC has a hit in Revolution. I enjoyed the pilot. Waiting until the first half of the season has finished airing I think before I continue, there are too many shows I watch that have cliffhangers already. As for The CW, I'm glad 90210 is getting numbers that will probably require its cancellation, so the producers should wrap it up this year and Gossip Girl is having its final season...well, CW, way to go for showing support to those shows, but you should have kept Ringer and The Secret Circle. The latter was getting so great.
The CW network caters to teenagers and young adults 18-22, I can't imagine anyone thirty or older watching any shows on that network. I certainly don't
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

I hope the Revolution ratings stay that way. And Supernatural is really well compared to these CW shows.
ReplyDeleteI recon CW can beat NBC at least at 8pm Wednesday and 8pm Thursday
ReplyDeleteHmm. Do you really think they could?
ReplyDeleteThat's Arrow/SPN and Vampire Diaries/Beauty and Beast for the CW ; what does NBC have on those nights?
i am confused, hawaii got a 2.0 last week. How would this be up?
ReplyDeleteit was adjusted down in finals to a 1.8
ReplyDeleteno it wasnt it adjusted up to a 2.0 last week, it adjusted down to 1.8 the previous week

ah ok, so its even with last week but up compared with the premiere
ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting to see what happens. I'll be rooting for the CW!
ReplyDeleteHoping Arrow can and TVD can continue to be ratings successes for The CW, but i'm doubting this more and more as the time draws closer!

ReplyDeleteSupernatural is still doing well on the CW. The others are of no concern, really.
