Castle Review: Secret’s Safe With Me

Last “Castle” episode saw our favorite writer and his muse investigated on the murder of a girl, Wendy Dupree, who wrote with her blood the world “LIE” on the floor. Soon, Beckett and Castle discovered that her death is connected to a warehouse taken to auction. The investigations lead them to the “Warehouse Wars”, as well as rich socialites and criminals. It turns out not to be “LIE” but “317”, the number of a storage locker that Wendy’s twin Wendell rented. She rented under an alias, Johan Fleming. It was funny how Castle stated that he wanted to do what’s in every writer’s dreams: saying “The butler did it!”
Back to the Castle’s family, Martha knew about his son and Beckett. “I saw the poor girl hiding”, said the woman, and that was epic. Maybe it’s time for Castle to tell the truth to Alexis. But the little girl was upset because she was afraid someone could steal her dad – that ‘someone’ might be Beckett. Later, Alexis explained to her dad that her behavior had nothing to do with Beckett; she’s sad about moving to college and away from him – but are we sure about that? Alexis was the only woman in the place center of Castle’s heart, and now she might have a little competition with Beckett.
How adorable was Gates in this episode? She’s a doll collector! And how angry was she when Castle smashed one of the porcelain doll down?
Anyway, Castle and Beckett continued to rock every scenes as a couple. The best scene ever was the handshake. The sexiest handshake ever. It’s hard for them keep a low profile at work. Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic really have a great chemistry.
With Alexis gone, Castle won’t be so alone: Martha said to her son she will continue to live here – in the loft.
