I wish they would give Will Estes a storyline. He mainly only shows up at family dinners. What a waste!
ReplyDeleteI was just about to say the same thing! It seems like the guest stars get more screen time than he does. Also, this season so far seems like the "Danny Reagan Show." As much as I love Donnie Wahlberg, he's not the only cast member. Will's a great actor and extremely underused...
ReplyDeleteI wish this show was more balanced, with more equal screen time and story dedicated to the rest of the Reagan family. I wholeheartedly agree with others about this show becoming the "Danny Reagan Show". Obviously, the biggest fanbases belong to Donnie Wahlberg and Tom Selleck. Wahlberg does that rough 'good' cop well. And I love Tom Selleck. The guy has presence! Still...

never gets his own story. Erin only pops in to prop Danny and/or Frank,
or to maybe date 2 people. And yes, poor Jamie was doing well with his
undercover work, but alas, has also been relegated to family prop for
Danny and/or Frank. These guys each need more of their own story imo.
Agreed. I like Donnie Wahlberg's Danny Reagan too. But he was better in the first season, when I didn't feel like rolling my eyes at super cheesy scenes that showcase the writers purposefully propping Danny. It sometimes comes across as insincere imo. A more natural writing method, with balance, and equal perspectives for the rest of the family, is better for the show.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to see others that agree with me that Jamie is being so left out every week!! It's always Danny this and Danny that. What gives!?? Will Estes deserves screen time too!! Is CBS trying to kill the show? :(
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go on CBS.com and give feedback about balancing out the show. I agree that I love Donnie Wahlberg and the entire cast, but I want to see everyone (especially Jamie) get a storyline. Hey, it worked to get rid of Lori from Hawaii Five-0. I think CBS listens!!
