If Mozzie was taking pictures of Mrs. Suit's visitors, Peter would go through the roof. This is annoying. I hope Neal knocks him out. This also after Peter told Diana all about Neal's dad as though he had permission to discuss such a private thing that it took Neal four years to tell Peter about it, I'm totally sure Neal wanted it blabbed all over the office.
Agreed, it's a betrayal of trust on Peter's part, and I was very surprised he told Diana everything. On an unrelated subject, I'm not sure about the show's timeline, but I don't think 4 whole years have passed since Neal became a consultant, but I could be wrong.
I have to say I disagree - Peter's so called betrayal is mere water cooler gossip, while Neal's behaviour as shown in the clips and through out the season has a deeper effect on their relationship. Neal just doesn't seem to trust Peter enough to let him in on all his plans. He just doesn't share, though he has been proven time after time that doing thigs his way never ends well. You can't honestly tell me that Peter's behaviour is worse...
I also did not like that Peter so easily told Diana about Neal's business. Specially since Diana is not that fund of Neal and is always snorting when he talks.
I have a question though. In the 3d clip, when Sam asks for whiskey, what is the meaning of the gesture that Neal does? (I am not american). Thanks.
Three fingers is the amount of liquor to place in the glass. It is from a bartender form of putting liquor or whiskey in a tumbler.this measurements are in fingers. The amount of fluid to fill to cover one finger.
I never said Peter's behaviour was worse, did I? ;] My main issue with this is that Peter is often seen as the perfect man, when in fact he makes mistakes. And no, it's by no means water cooler gossip. It's a secret that Neal's kept almost from everyone in his life, and one that he finally confessed in strict confidence. He has obvious issues, and they had clearly steered him onto the path of crime in the first place. Water cooler gossip would be "Hey, Diana, guess what, Neal's had his best tie stained with coffee and was laughed at by some hot ladies" not "Hey, Diana, guess what, apple doesn't fall that far from the tree since Neal's father was a corrupt father". Both Peter and Diana trivialized it to the level of a joke and a piece of gossip.
Neal offered to let Peter in on the Sam stuff if he wouldn't create an FBI report because Sam was concerned that the FBI had moles. Peter refused. That wasn't Neal not trusting Peter. That was Peter selectively deciding when to bend the rules to help himself but not help Neal.
I don't think Neal wanted his dad's story to be "water cooler gossip." It is very rude. I think Peter's behavior is so worse, not the least because he pretends it is all his right to spy on Neal and decide what Neal can and cannot do and whether or not Neal is allowed to have a private life at all.
Peter is in the wrong here, but after Neal hiding the treasure secret from Peter and continuously putting Peter's carreer in jeopardy, often without Peter knowing, well I think Peter is allowed a freeby or twenty!!!!
Well, Neal made Peter's career. And since the biggest hit to Peter's career came because Peter chose to go after Neal and led the FBI right to Neal's secret island, I'm not in the mood to offer any freebies. If Peter had just let Neal alone his career would have been fine. Peter follows the rules or doesn't when it suits his goals and his "sense" of right and wrong, and cares nothing for anyone else's motivations. If Peter's mother had been gunned down he wouldn't have stopped until he got justice, but he expects Neal to sit on his hands and wait all because Peter told him to.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Decent clips, even #4 which was a commercial for the Ford hands free parallel parking feature... lol
ReplyDeleteJeez, I'm fed up with all the "5 year long engagement" ads.

Conceded, in show time I don't know how long it was, I guess I should change that to seasons. xD
ReplyDeleteI think it's been about two years or less, but I'm not sure...
ReplyDeleteSo Neal's father isn't in prison after all ... he's in witsec too ...
ReplyDeleteSo the chances of it turning out to be Sam are what? 90%, 95?
