ReplyDeleteIf it were me, given Red John's penchant for trickery, my reaction would be "DNA test or GTFO." Even then, if she is really his daughter, there's no telling what RJ did to that girl's head.
ReplyDeleteI think back then Jane would have recognized if a little girl lying in a pool of blood would be his daughter or not. We know RJ's favorite area are just neck and torso not the face. Even in a state of shock he would not make this mistake. I'm sure this girl who claims to be his daughter is just a means to shake Janes emotional chains.

But there would be still the possibility in RJ trying manipulate the test results.
ReplyDeleteThe possibility yes, but not a strong one. There are a handful of ways to do DNA tests these days and Jane wouldn't have to go through the CBI. He could do a test at home if he wanted to.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that. Thanks for the explanation :) I wonder how this will turn out because there is no "Red" in the title so obviously not a Red John episode.
ReplyDeleteThe presence or absence of word "red" in the title doesn't indicate that though. Most of epis entitled "Red something something" don't involve the RJ storyline, and the are Red John episodes without "red" in the name.
ReplyDeleteAll the episodes indirectly refer to red, but not all Red John episodes directly have the word "red" in them.
ReplyDeleteSounds right up Red John's alley. He's very cruel. Really enjoys causing Jane emotional pain.
ReplyDeleteExactly what I'm thinking. Red John likes causing Jane emotional suffering- always refreshing his memory when Jane doesn't need it.
