    Illusion, as in "the idea that Revenge would actually kill off one of their series regulars turned out to be an illusion."

    It was obvious they were never going to do that. While they should have IMO killed off Charlotte, Victoria has so many stories left to explore. Besides, what did you expect from the show? After all it`s a soap and in these type of shows they usually never kill them off. There's a cliffhanger and some characters are put in a danger situation and that's it.

    I was actually referring to Daniel. Once the show backed out on that I also knew that this wasn't the kind of show that had the stones to pull the trigger on a genuinely riveting character death.

    Yeah, I always though they should have killed his character. Now, he's a bit more interesting but still... I always thought that Tyler had so much potential left as a character and I was bit disappointed when they decided to the switcheroo.
