ReplyDeleteThey will be introducing so many new characters,don't know how they plan on working them all in,but i wouldn't expect them to go in depth with all the characters,new or established.
ReplyDeleteI think it's interesting that they kept it really vague...but I am curious how the flash backs are going to relate to the current situation this season. It's also interesting that we're dealing with Sleeping Beauty, first since one can see it's similar story to Snow White, but also that Maleficent was one of the first character's introduced that Regina needed to get the curse "back" from her...
ReplyDeleteI hope we get to see Maleficient again, I have loved both times when she showed up, really good character (and actress) and a very good match to Regina!

ReplyDeleteI think the title alone tells a lot about the episode. It's not just the curse that is broken and there will be a lot of broken pieces to put back together and a lot of wounds to heal. Nice.
ReplyDeleteI want more Maleficent, too! Kristin Bauer van Straten and Lana Parrilla worked really well together as frenemies and I want to see how they met, how they became "friends", how Maleficent got the curse (I know Regina gave it to her, but I want to see why and how) and I hope they do a lot with Maleficent in the Sleeping Beauty story. I know Kristin is a series regular on True Blood. But I hope they can negotiate and she can do both shows!
ReplyDeleteRelax. They're the core 5 characters. Of course they'll be the center of attention. Phillip and Aurora will most likely be in a fairytale flashback that is tied closely to what is going on with our core characters.
ReplyDeleteI don't dislike the idea of more stories, but NOT in the season premiere. There are many plots that they have with the core 5. Sleeping beauty? Good, but not now.

ReplyDeleteBut Sleeping Beauty could very well tie in with something that's going on with the core 5. They would not introduce the story now if it has no connection to what is going in the core stories. They have always handled the connection between the fairytale flashbacks and the action in Storybrooke well in the past.
ReplyDeleteIts kind of telling that we've heard more about the new characters all Summer long than we have about the characters we actually care about. (Emma, Snow, Charming, Regina, and Rumpelstiltskin.
ReplyDeleteDon't get me wrong, I'm all for new characters. But all this hype for the new people does nothing for me. These new characters haven't earned my excitement yet.
I miss this show so much and I cannot wait until it's back!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I hope she can do both as well. Especially because as True Blood lasts only 12 episodes (this year is actually just 10), it shouldn't be that impossible to do it!
