Grey's Anatomy - Kate Walsh open to returning

22 Sept 2012

Walsh says she could pop back up on Grey's Anatomy. "There's always that possibiliy," she told me last night at Entertainment Weekly's pre-Emmy party at Fig & Olive in West Hollywood. "It's really up to Shonda [Rhimes]."

But would Walsh want to? "Of course," she said. "I'm open to anything. I'm ready for my next chapter, but never close the door."

That next chapter includes more than just collecting a paycheck. "I'm going to rest," said Walsh, 44. "I'm going to travel and work hopefully on other stuff and spend time with my family and friends."

  1. Please don't bring her back as a regular. I've had enough of Addison.

  2. She won't be back on GA as a regular. She's simply saying "never say never", for example, a guest appearance, like what she's been doing every year. Kate is grateful - and exactly this was said of her five years ago when her spin-off first started too.

  3. I'd love to see her back on GA. I mean, I'd love to see the dynamic of the first seasons, we also need Heigl back, but that will never happen. :$

    Thanks for the article :)

  6. I don't want her back in Grey's, I love Addison but her storyline belong with PP now and needs to be ending with PP.

  7. Seriously! I like Kate Walsh but how about instead of Shonda making up reasons for Addison to come back to Greys Anatomy - why not Amelia? or Izzie? I think that would be more interesting.

  9. Amelia should definitely cross over into Grey's as a regular.

  10. This is more non-news from E! I hate it when they try to feign some sort of importance from some random, innocuous quotes.

  11. The role of Addison came to an end, there is nothing for her on Grey's anymore...

  12. I wouldn't mind seeing her on Greys for a guest appearance but not as a regular. They cut three of the regulars and I would prefer it to stay that way.

  13. I really hope she comes back to Grey's Anatomy! Private Practice's not that interesting, and
Addison just missing on Grey's anatomy

  15. Ya I would rather see Amelia on Greys at this point I mean she wants to leave PP so why would she come back to Greys?

  16. Well, Amelia and Cooper and company would be very welcome to Grey's, I would love that, Kate maybe as an guess star for now, and totally izzie..

  18. That would be awesome if she could come from time to time - they don't have to be in pediatrics all the time, we can just imagine she's there dealing with stuff we don't need to see, and then someone needs a consult and bam. Or, Arizona and Addison disagree on something, or, even better, Agree on something that disagrees with Derek or Bailey or the Chief.
