ReplyDeleteYAH the Screencap !!!! Really awesome
ReplyDeletelooks like we will have a new promo soon !! yeah
ReplyDeleteAlexis probably came home and said "Daaad".
ReplyDeleteGreat screencap!! Very funny.
LOL the cap!! ahahaha can't flippin wait!!!!! :D
ReplyDeletelove the screencap :D
ReplyDeleteI didn't read it the same way you did.I don't believe Castle was hiding it necessarily but even if he didn't tell Beckett why should he have to tell her his past relationships, they were in the past.... We really won't know till the episode airs...
ReplyDeletebound to get a 'castle in 2 weeks' promo tomorrow
ReplyDeleteThe screencap : LMAO ! ♥
ReplyDeleteI get your point and I agree. I only used the verb "hide" because Marlowe used it. I also think it would be stupid if they sat and started telling each other about every person they had previously dated (well, Beckett also didn't want to tell Castle her number, let alone talk about each ex). Hiding is something "active", while not mentioning an ex is just the normal way to go. That's what's making me more curious... why would he have had to hide her from Beckett? Or is Marlowe using the verb "hide" just in order to make thinks look more interesting?
ReplyDeleteMaybe i'm a little jaded but ever since Shonda pulled that crap last season i learned not to take there word on anything, now i just wait cause all that speculation last season was for nothing...except get everyone absolutely crazy,it was a feeding frenzy here,i'm sure you remember.
ReplyDeleteI'm not saying Marlowe is like her,but of course they are going to entice the viewer anyway they can.Like fishing, hanging the worm to see if it bites. He gave us a worm...
What did Shonda do? I have no idea since I don't watch Grey's or PP.
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, I guess he did give us a worm. You're probably right.
I guess the word "hide" was used because maybe Castle didn't tell Beckett about his relationship with the victim even after they found out that she had been murdered. Like, he didn't mention it, the same way he didn't mention that his friend's father had been murdered and his friend had been a suspect in "The Final Nail" in season 3...
ReplyDeleteI'm dead with that screencap. DEAD.
ReplyDeleteOh lord last season Shonda caused such grief by saying someone was going die cause they were leaving the show, but not telling us who signed their contracts and who didn't.Then in a following interview she said it could be more than one person.By this time people here already had these scenarios of not only who would die,but also why and how.
ReplyDeleteI would estimate we had over 200 comments just from one post, and every time Shonda came out with another interview it started all over again..It was crazy! And she did it all with the worm!
Oh, that's mean. But did somebody die after all (or even more than one character)?
ReplyDeleteOh, ok, this scenario...but that would be majorly stupid from Castle.
ReplyDeleteYes,there was a plane crash and Lexie died.Mark is injured and will die when the season starts. Needless to say Lexie was very popular, people were very upset it was her....
ReplyDeleteOh, awful. I hate plane crashes (except for the one on Lost because it gave us Lost after all).
ReplyDeleteI also think it is pretty stupid from her to anticipate that someone will die, because it would probably be much better for people to be surprised to see that one important character dies.
Lets just say that screecap tells a very interesting story...
ReplyDeleteLoving the screencap! I read somewhere (can't remember the site. I think it was the TV section of a newspaper down in Arizona or New Mexico) that Martha is going to come home early (it was a full but spoiler-free recap of the premiere). So I'm guessing this is either them hearing her come home or her walking in on them looking for Rick. Either way, it's priceless!
ReplyDeleteIf i remember correctly the actress wanted to leave months before the season finale.I recall her saying they both tried to find a good way for her to leave. She had been in a relationship with Mark (the other injured person) and even though it didn't work out she still loved him.Right before she died in the show they both said they loved each other,at least they both knew. Now everyone wants Mark to die so that the two of them will be together...Ah romance! I don't know why they think they would be together???That's a whole other story,lol..... :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for explainig it. I understand that the idea of them being together in the afterlife might be romantic to some, but I am usually in favour of keeping people/characters alive, hehehe.
ReplyDeleteExceptions to that: Shaw on Chuck. It was painful to watch Brandon Routh "act"; annoying teenagers in general; evil warlords, etc.
omg, the 5x01 pic. *thud* Loooove it!
ReplyDeleteClearly I need to be in an actual relationship (somehow) and not just live vicariously through couples of TV and movies because I see him having not told her about his past relationship with the victim as a lack of honesty. I know that neither of them gave the other their number but to me that feels different because they weren't dating. (even though she's in love with him and knew he loved her back.) Now that they're dating it just makes sense that they talk about past relationships in an effort to be honest with each other. Though at the same time, @laura3341:disqus makes a good point: the past is in the past. However, I know from experience with an ex-friend/bully-roommate that the past can stick with you for a long time. So it could also be clues as to how the other one is while in a relationship. Just my thoughts though.
ReplyDeleteMy exact reaction.
ReplyDeleteI think castle and beckettl get caught with their pants down (kinda literally)
ReplyDeleteIt was said a while ago she was going to have to do some sort of walk of shame. I'm still giggling at the cap tho, so funny.
This looks so good especially that first picture did they get caught or are they shocked about what they did.
ReplyDeleteLove the new ABC pic release. It is going to be such FUN, at least the first few minutes of Ep5.01. Feel sure the writer's have thrown in enough reasons for angst as well to cover that aspect of this relationship, but this is what I'm looking forward to. Can't wait.
ReplyDeleteOMG! That screencap! O.o Be steady, my shipper heart! XD
ReplyDeleteOh, well, I agree with Laura and believe that the past is the past. It is not healthy to try to learn about the partners whole past with all the exes. I think that there should be honesty and if someone really wants to know and really insists, the partner should tell whatever they are asking for. The problem is that most of the people tend not to be ready to deal with what they are going to hear. If you find your spouse relatively soon like I did it is really no big deal at all, but if you end up finding "the one" when you are 37, for instance, I bet there would be a lot more to talk about. Several friends of mine had serious arguments and problems in their relationship because either them or their boyfriends/husbands couldn't deal with the jealousy and kept bringing the subject back up. The important exes should be mentioned, but all of them? I don't think so. But hey, that's my opinion.
ReplyDeleteWell, like I said (or tried to imply), I've never been in a relationship. So my opinion on how to handle this is based on fiction (something not very credible, as Beckett indirectly pointed out to Castle in at least one of the season 2 episodes I watched over the weekend) and my own misguided assumptions. So I might not be right on this one.
ReplyDeleteSince every relationship has it's own peculiar traits, who knows, you could also be right :) A friend of mine used to say that in a relationship there is no right or wrong, there is only what works for the couple and what doesn't.
ReplyDeleteI just didn't get what you meant when you said that Beckett pointed sth out to Castle in season 2.
She'd always emphasize the word "fiction" when he'd bring up something from one of his books or movies while working on a case. Can't remember the specifics though.
ReplyDeleteOh, got it. Thanks for taking the time to explain it!
