  5. This season has been very underwhelming for me and this promo isn't giving me much of a reason to consider changing my opinion.

  6. Yes, I agree. Not that the major storylines have been awful, but they have just taken so long. Most of what we're still dealing with now could have been wrapped up by ep 3 or 4.

  7. Seriously? This season is the worst. Right now all I can say is thank goodness only 3 episodes left. And I am a diehard True Blood fan books/show.

My daughter and I tweet each other when we watch the show. Usually it's OMG, Yummy, etc....this year it's been huh, ugh, seriously, wtf.

It feels like Sookie is in the Land of the Wizard of OZ. The wizard is Alan Ball and he doesn't know what the heck is going on? Smoke monsters, Lilith and hate groups, oh me oh my.

  8. I don't hate it, but I feel like they've put too much into each episode and so this season kind of lost it's ability to show character reflection. It's at this point where so much is happening at the same time, that the characters don't even have time to think or connect and it takes away something that I think made the craziness of the show acceptable. I am not going to fully judge it until I see where it's going, because perhaps there is a reason for it feeling/being this way, other than S5 is just trying to be more crazy than previous seasons by shoving all of this chaos in our faces, which tends to me having to think about for a week before I feel like I've digested it.

  9. Huh, this season has been amazing, imo. True Blood continues to be the best "bad show" out there. ...being critical is pointless... sit back and enjoy the "entertainment"... really good stuff this year, imo.

  10. This is why I love Spoiler TV. We can agree to disagree. I am glad you are enjoying this season. Reading the other post tho...I can see I am not alone. As DarthLocke4 said " I am not going to fully judge it until I see where it's going, because perhaps there is a reason for it feeling/being this way" As my glass is usually half full. I really hope this is true.
