  1. LOST mainly.... of course, but I'll give Buffy the other vote!

  2. This was the cruelest one yet! Hard a hard time deciding, but ultimately went with Buffy and Lost. Still love H50 and Castle, though!

    ReplyDelete
  3. Castle and Lost for me!

    ReplyDelete
  4. Castle, although have only watched about 6 episodes so far and LOST, since nearly nothing would sway my vote way from it.

    ReplyDelete
  5. What a surprise! lol

    Hawaii and castle

    ReplyDelete
  7. Buffy and Lost for me.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Sorry Hawaii Five-0, but it will always be LOST for me.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Yet again no contest.

As good as Castle is, Buffy is just superior to it in every every aspect. Then again Buffy is superior to 99% shows to have ever aired.

In second, yet again Lost is also one of its kind.

  10. Any poll that results in The OC beating The Wire is not a poll I can continue to participate in. Come on.

    ReplyDelete
  11. It's called democracy. I've never seen The Wire, and whilst I'm sure it's a great show I'd only seen The OC so I voted for it.

How many of your Wire friends did you ask to vote in the poll?

I posted the poll on a OC Fan site so the fans of the OC could vote.

Did you post it on a Wire fan site?

  12. Lost for me!!! The Best Series EVER!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Buffy and LOST - two of the greatest shows to ever air.

    Castle and Hawaii 5-0 -- really...? :|

    ReplyDelete
  14. Lost. Lost. And guess what? Lost again.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Buffy and Lost for me.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I said it last year and I'll say it again - even Nathan Fillion would probably vote for Buffy.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I really love Castle, but there is only one show for which I would vote against Buffy. And this is Supernatural! So Buffy got my vote !!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Come on, Castle is winning over Buffy? What!?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Sadly, I haven't watched a lot of Buffy episodes, so Castle gets the vote.
    And Lost, of course.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Come on people!! Buffy NEEDS you to be strong!!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Buffy and Lost!! Nothing against the other two, but Buffy and Lost were brilliant.

    ReplyDelete
  22. You would like Buffy. There's even a bit of Nathan Fillion in Buffy.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Lost, Lost, and Lost. That's it.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Although I loved Buffy, there's no way I'm voting against my all time favorite show. So, Castle for me. Anytime.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Just one more time! Lost & Buffy

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm shocked Klutzy,i can't believe you didn't vote for Castle! :)

    ReplyDelete
  27. I should hope so! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  28. we have a lot of Lost voters where were they last year? Not complaining tho!

    ReplyDelete
  29. BUFFY!........Really?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Buffy? How do we get along?

    ReplyDelete
  31. LOl,what couldn't think of anything better to say,lol...... :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Lol! Hey your getting to know me a little too well! :)

    ReplyDelete
  33. :) hahahahahahahahahahha ! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Buffy and Lost. I love Castle, but there isn't any show I would vote against Buffy for. Best show ever made to this day, in my opinion. Simply brilliant.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I will refrain from voting today :)

    ReplyDelete
  36. this has been the fastest start to any day of the competition. Both polls are heading towards a huge amount of votes! The question remains, can Castle and LOST keep on doing so well?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Buffy and Hawaii 5-O for me.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Buffy fans, we had a nice run! I hope we can at least make Castle fans sweat a little :D :D

    ReplyDelete
  39. I didn't know that. I would definitely like it then :)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Castle is a fun show, but ultimately it's just a procedural with a charismatic lead, and nobody is gonna be teaching college courses about how it revolutionized genre TV.

Aaaaannnnd, Stana Katic is quite lovely, but lets face it, the combined chick power of SMG, Aly Hannigan, Charisma Carpenter, Emma Caulfiled and Eliza Dusku leaves Castle in the proverbial dust.
    Sooooooo......
    Buffy
H2O v Lost is no contest at all.
    Seriously.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Lost, simply put, it's amazing

    ReplyDelete
  42. Like we don't know who your waiting for,lol...... :D

    ReplyDelete
  43. He's in Lost, too, of course. Nathan Fillion has a part in all these shows except Hawaii 5-0!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Castle is light fun and very well done, but Buffy is just more entertaining to me and FAR more original for its era.

    I obviously I prefer Hawaii 4-8-15-16-23-42 to Hawaii Five-O.
I watch Hawaii Five-O and can enjoy it, but last year was a big step backwards to me honestly. Whereas LOST is one of the arguably best shows ever on TV. Period.

    ReplyDelete
  45. "you know me too well" - Olivia to Charlie in 1.19 The Road Not Taken - :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. :-) I´ll never forget those numbers! I agree, Lost is one of the best and most original shows ever. It will always get my vote.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Yeah, he was a guest star, I think, but I didn't know he was in Buffy too.
And there's still time for Hawaii 5-0. Who knows? :)

    ReplyDelete
  48. Lost. No doubt.
CBS tried to get the new Lost with the Hawaii 50 remake but all they got is a weak acted show filmed in Hawaii.
Lost will never die. It was a WORLWIDE megahit.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I don't think that's fair. Hawaii Five-O is firstly re-imaged. It's producers are also former/current Bad Robot writers and executive producers. -It is that it isn't that far removed from a Bad Robot work, except that it doesn't have supernatural phenomena or budget, in fact Hawaii Five-O has the looks and isolated location of Lost by filming in Hawaii, but really it is a lot like Alias. (minus the Rambaldi-Fringe stuff), which is one of those BR shows K and O worked on (:

I agree that Lost is better, but it's partially because of the large cast, genre blending in having mystery-fringe elements, which is a preference and not necessarily bad.

    ReplyDelete
  50. He plays a bad guy in Buffy so it's different. It is interesting that he's been in several of these. I didn't know he was in LOST. I'm seeing a Fillion TV domination in the future.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Just curious - no judgment intended, but have you seen Buffy?

    ReplyDelete
  52. One of the best written, most intelligent and downright entertaining shows ever made VS an exposition heavy police procedural - And the cop show is winning?!? It just goes to show that people has short memories. If the currently airing show will always win these polls, it just makes a mockery of the whole thing.

    ReplyDelete
  53. He played Kate's husband, Kevin. She left him, silly girl.

    ReplyDelete
  54. No i haven't,not yet!! But to set the record straight,Tony is my very good friend,i was giving him a hard time about it but it was all in good fun! We tend to do that we each other! Just wanted you to know that. :)

    ReplyDelete
  55. Wow,nicely done everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Unpopular opinion: Buffy & H50 for me. ;D

    ReplyDelete
  57. Did I just read that Farscape and Charmed lost? Shame on you voters, shame on you.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Not questioning your vote or your comment. I was just curious. Given several shows you like I think you would enjoy Buffy, probably season 2 on more than season 1. I would be interested in your opinion if you decide to watch it.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I am hoping to get into it before the new season starts? I don't remember why i never watched it,it was probably due to another show..When i do i'll let you know! I know you weren't judging me.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Laura, if you decide to watch Buffy, look at nikkistafford.blogspot. She has a rundown of each episode.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Thanks Linda,i'll be sure to check it out!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Agreed.

A cop procedural(albeit an enjoyable and hilarious one) winning against Buffy - pretty much THE best show ever created is...sad.

    ReplyDelete
  63. "I've got a theory
    That we're in heaven
No, not in heaven, how 'bout maybe purgatory..."

    "Maybe the island's

    Some kind of portal
Or some sicko BF Skinner lab'ratory..."

  64. Castle won over Buffy? Lame poll is irrelevant now.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I'm with Darth on this one. I love Lost and would have voted for it no question - but Hawaii Five-O is one of the few "cop" shows that I can even stand to watch and it's not just about the scenery, the story lines have been entertaining and the comedy mixed with drama has been solid. I have no complaints.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Ah, thanks. Kate did always annoy me with her bad decisions.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I'v Watched Buffy a long long time! But Well done to you @Dahne for persuading @laura3341:disqus to see the Light! lol!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Yeah, no way Castle is better then Buffy

    ReplyDelete
  69. "Castle" finished ahead of BtVS??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That's nuts.

    ReplyDelete
  70. aka "wrong and wronger"

    ReplyDelete
  71. Oh i know this is all for fun and I was just making a joke that reflected my feelings towards the two shows. Now I know this isnt a scientific poll or anything but i imagine notifying a particular fan site composed of thousands may skew things a bit....Not sure that really does the poll justice, does it? Seems a bit unfair unless the other fan site is notified as well. Does it really reflect the views of the people here? Stuffing the ballot box to get a particular result takes all the air out of this.....

    ReplyDelete
  72. Well it's how every TV Show Poll that has ever existed on the Internet has been done. Of course people are going to contact their friends and get them to vote and to contact fellow fans.

That's how all polls on the internet work.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Come on, Buffy should be running away with this! Buffy had some of the best writing and some of the most talented actors around.
