    Since it's premiering in January my guess it will pair up Being Human or Lost Girl and maybe Warehouse 13 seeing as it has 20 or 22 episodes for season 4....But guts going with Being Human.

    I'd rather see Continuum use the $$$ from selling the broadcast rights to hire a few new writers. They need some scribes who can start to give these characters a little more life. They gave Kiera a few really nice character moments in the first three episodes and everything became a little too bland after that.

    True....
    They had a decent story each week, but never really explored the people in the story. They need to find a way to really hone in on the characters more. They were fairly successful doing that for Kagame in the last episodes.



    Now they need to build on that momentum and write to the leads as well in my opinion. I find Kiera and Carlos chasing Liber8 the least interesting aspect of the series and that seems to be what they write to most of the time.Instead of using the weekly story to bring home something about the lead actors or the conspiracy....

    Agreed. They need to start writing for the characters a little more instead of focusing on the case so much. Continuum is a little too procedural for a sci-fi cable show.

    technically no because even if being human pairs up with continuum, Lost girl can still be paired up with Warehouse 13 for Syfy isn't gonna air season 4 of warehouse but will air exactly 13 episodes along with alphas 13 episode order.

    Other words Warehouse 13 season 4 will be broken up into two part just like they did with eureka

    Do we know Continuum is coming in January or just that they are going to flow through to the new second season episodes?


    Right now, with your theory, SyFy is airing four scripted shows in January. They can't all go on Powerful Mondays. How is that supposed to work?

    Theoretically we only know the air date for Being Human which is 1/14/2013 but we still dont know when exactly Lost Girl and Continuum will premiere in January.

    There's 20 episode order for warehouse 13 which my guess they will air 10 this yr and 10 next yr if Syfy is going with it. Continuum season 1 consists of 10 episode which is a perfect pair up with Warehouse 13 on Tuesday 2013, Making Being Human and Lost Girl on Mondays because they both have 13 order episode for season 3.

    Lost Girl is supposed to start Jan 14. And if they change the date at this point, I think Canada will invade. Merlin is Jan 4, but aren't they usually on Fridays? We don't have specific info on Continuum and they could move dates based on picking it up, but we do know they said they are going to dovetail into the Canadian schedule for season 2, which should be sometime in May if it is the same as this year.

    All I'm saying if they are really adding Continuum in January either something is moving or they have to open up another night of scripted television.


    I figured the second half of Warehouse was going to air with Defiance, why are you thinking January when SyFy didn't put them on the premiere date list?

    and Warehouse 13 get renewed for season 3 and 5 then they will pair up
    again in
    July.



    In January because Continuum is set to premiere that month on Syfy, theres a report on spoiler tv saying a US network to pickup and January the series will premiere following second to air after season 1 just like they did with Lost Girl.

    I'm sorry. I'm confused. You "are right about Lost Girl and Being Human starting together"? You proposed that they would be pairing Continuum with Being Human. I said where does that put Lost Girl. You said you didn't know when in January it was airing. I also asked if you knew Warehouse was coming back in January because it wasn't on SyFy's premiere date list. Regardless they have at least 4 scripted shows starting in January, two comprise Powerful Mondays and one is usually on Friday nights. Without adding another night of non-reality TV, I don't know how/where they stuff the last one.


    Secondarily, I agree they are saying that Continuum is coming in January in the spoiler, but if it is to work into season 2, Showcase would have to be bumping up the start date from this year when it started at the end of May, and what starting it in April?


    I don't have enough information to figure this out, but if they put Continuum with Being Human, I have no idea where they stick Lost Girl.

    I'm confused myself lol. Fact remains that Lost Girl did a wonderful job being paired up with Being Human which Syfy will continue to have these to shows air together next year.

    Continuum season 2 will start production next year and if Syfy wants it to air along with Defiance then Showcase is gonna have to start in January bc Defiance Season 1 set to air 13 episodes on Syfy and Continuum is also set to air 13 episodes for season 2 so they both fit perfectly

    But as to when in April my guess would be a monday for which would end in july with the premieres of Alpha and Warehouse 13 if they get renewed. Just like they did with Eureka final season

    Looks like continuum might air alone, like haven does because i was right bout warehouse 13 being split into two sets of episodes.. first ten episodes is set to end on 10/1/2012 and second set will air in April of 2013 and it will pair up with Defiance starting April 22, 2013 as Defiance will have a two hour premiere on April 15th.

    Merlin is in Haven's Friday night spot, right now (Jan 4 is a Friday plus Merlin is usually on Fridays). It has wrestling as a lead-in. I really think they're going to be opening up another night for scripted drama.


    Thanks for the heads up. Where'd you see the Defiance info? I was expecting them to pair their new toy Defiance with the flagship Warehouse, so I'm glad it seems like what they are going to do. I love it when they make business decisions I agree with!
