Comic-Con - Game of Thrones - John Barrowman Interviews George R.R. Martin

12 Aug 2012

John Barrowman welcomes Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin to the Comic-Con 2012 Live stage for the latest on the novels and hit HBO series and talks years of comic-book collecting and coming to the convention.

This is a fun one for fans of Game of Thrones, Torchwood and maybe even Doctor who fans.

Most of the interview is more about GRRM the man more than about Game of Thrones, but it is very fun to see the more personal side of the man. The man whose most recent book in the A Song of Ice and Fire saga, A Dance with Dragons, has been on the NY Times Bestseller list for an entire year now - 52 weeks on the list!

Okay I kid, but the man can sing, act, and would be fun to watch on my TV again in something better than was the last installment of Torchwood!

  6. *nerdgasm* thrones, doctor who and fantastic four are ALL my favourite things. How can someone who looks so cuddly kill all those people in his brain?
