    Somerhalder was quite generous. I don't think I've seen such an elaborate and thoughtful answer in a comic-con press line interview. It's usually 30 seconds of coy smiles and evasive answers then on to the next internet blogger with a microphone.

    "You don't always have to listen to her."
    Damon may have a lot of bad qualities as a character but this stance toward Elena has always been spot-on.
