That was terrifying beyond belief. I loved the episode, but I am so glad they ordered an extra one to wrap things up! I would have hated that ending. (I'm guessing that if they had gotten that shortened sixth season, the town would have been saved somehow.)
LOL at NPC!Fargo asking if Holly had an off button. And holy crap, her memory problems! That's not good.
Wow...loved it. Was genuinely scared watching all those doubles running around. So creepy. Poor Fargo...after everything he and Holly have been through. I'm sad there's only one more episode left but I'm glad that they got it to wrap things up - that ending would have been horrible.
Considering I was completely against them bringing Holly back (IMHO - if you're going to play those kinds of high stakes emotional stories...don't go back on your word because eventually, I lose my trust in you as a storyteller.) I was pleased that they used it to some major juicy story purpose.
Wow, they took one of their creepiest stories down to the wire didn't they? I really thought the day was saved when Allison got Jack into the car. She'd get to Zane and they'd spend some time testing the bomb...but no! Eeeep! A road block. And then a crash...and I was late leaving for work!
Had one problem with Kevin. I don't know too many kids unable to tell when their mother is *scared.* Especially, not a kid that age. When Allison saw EvilJack holding the baby the fact her fear was evident, as any mother's would be. The fact that Kevin was completely oblivious to her state of fear and continued to ask stupid questions...just kicked me out of the story. I didn't buy it.
I was kicked out again by how long Allison stalled when the obviously wrong Jenna talking to her. But it was easier for me to let them off the hook on that one. (I think the director could have made it work better if he'd had EvilJack show up just a couple moments sooner.) Not a major deal but it kicked me out of the story.
I was so proud of Fargo when he knocked Holly.
I'm having loads of trouble trying to figure out why they've cancelled this show. It still feels like it's at its creative peak. Though I admit to not having studied the ratings...but I'm having such a hard time with this one. It's been a while since I've been this irritated by a cancellation.
I was hoping that even after the series finale, Eureka would still be there with everyone living happily ever after. I mean would it really be so bad if the citizens of Eureka bought the GD building and opened their own company?

Jack vs. Jack, that was awesome. "I've gotta kick my ass," best line of the episode.
ReplyDeleteSoooo glad they got 1 final episode. Would've been a terrible spot to end the show like this. Sad about Holly thou.
ReplyDeletejack against his double ..AWESOME ..fight ..the future prelude of the end i dont like it at all.
