ReplyDeleteThe pilot took place at/around April 20th 2010 (Deepwater Horizon explosion), and in 1.04 we are upto the Tuscon shooting in January 2011. Judging by this promo, we are moving upto February 2011 when Mubarak finally resigned. In just 5 episodes, we've moved almost a full year.
I'm assuming the sped up timeline, is to get the series caught up to more "recent events" rather quickly, while still giving time to provide backstory and drama for the characters.
Oh, Elliot... I hope he is okay.
