Question: How is it, as an actor, to finally know, for the first time, where your character is heading?

ANNA TORV: It is the first time. We’re also going into the fifth season knowing this is our last, and that’s exciting too. It’s a really luxurious position that we’re in, and I don’t think anybody is going to squander that.

  2. In a lot of ways, I have always seen a little bit in Jack Sheppherd in her, and when you think about "Peter and the Machine" and how it expounds on this idea of Peter(s) finding some way to save Olivia (over and over again), you kind of see just how many times he has had to do that, but another part seems to be that Peter(s) and [blue] Olivia(s) never seem to have a child, until now, so it could also be a hint that Olivia may still die, but she is able to live on in her daughter...that in some ways the dynamics in theses universes allows to pass the buck down...and maybe it will be something where Olivia dies, but Etta is the one to revive, or find them again, or maybe Etta is the one that can be happier, because she is able to let go, because of the sacrifices her family made for her, and Fringe is about breaking that cycle to finally create a better future with 'better human beings'.

But I am hopeful that there will some kind of a silver lining in the ending (or proof of further existences from these people, even if they do die...)

  6. Since they both have died, I expect them both to survive for a happy ending. But it will be bittersweet because Walter is going to die. At least that is my expectation.

Probably something heroic, after which he asks for food. :P
