Sorry for the week away from the competition, but we are back today after previously seeing House MD and Veronica Mars reach the next round with fine wins over Grimm and Angel respectively. Both shows are in Supernatural's quarter of the draw and will undeniably face tougher tests as the days go by.
Today has one of the most interesting battles so far, as the two most popular new TV series of the last season come together in round one, with Once Upon a Time challenging Person of Interest in a battle that is incredibly tough to call.
We also have Stargate SG-1 taking on the one of the biggest sitcoms of all time, Friends. It should be interesting to see which of these shows which finished so long ago still has a decent amount of support.
If you want to see the draw for the rest of the competition, and see which show will take on which other show then head HERE for a look. Let the voting begin!

ReplyDeletePerson of Interest and SG
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Adam! we were starting to get worried about you!
Sorry SG-1. It's FRIENDS!
ReplyDeletePerson of Interest and Friends for me today!
ReplyDeletethis new method of voting using percents..AWESOME VERY VANGUARD and more accurate i like once but i vote for person in the second stargate
ReplyDeletePerson of Interest and Friends!
ReplyDeletePerson of Interest and Friends for me. I do like Once Upon A Time too, but PoI is a better show I think.
ReplyDeleteOUAT and Friends!
ReplyDeletesoitware this pouter apps now exist on publiser website onlay"everyone"Ronisyahrony awould for user all management network.
ReplyDeletePoI and Friends, even though I do watch OUAT to me it is just not as interesting.
ReplyDeletePOI all the way,
ReplyDeleteSG-1, always. Never liked Friends, never will.
ReplyDeleteFriends and OUAT for me
ReplyDeleteEasy choices. Although iwanredto watch PoI, I never got around to it so OUaT gets my vote. As its an incredible show.
ReplyDeleteFriends was simple too. I've never watched the other one but even so, friends is an all time classic. One of the few comedy's that just never got old
Person Of Interest.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Adam,we were getting worried about you! Hope nothing serious....
ReplyDeleteThe first one is going to be a tough one for me.I'll be back to vote..
Person of Interest and Friends. It was hard to choose between POI and OUaT because I like them both very much, but Person of Interest engages me completely, whereas I sometimes get a little bored watching OUaT.
ReplyDeletePerson of Interest!! I just hope it picks up some votes later today.
ReplyDeleteSame here!
ReplyDeleteHow could SG-1 be losing? Choosing between POI and OUaT is very difficult, but here i go.
ReplyDeleteStargate SG1 and POI two great shows.I love OUaT but i got fed up with some of there characters and the cgi was horrible, really for a Disney related show you would have thought they would have thought things through a little better. Hopefully this will be a better year for the show in general...
OUAT and Stargate SG-1 for me today!!Fantastic show both of them.
ReplyDeletePerson of Interest and Friends!
ReplyDeletePOI - best show ever.
ReplyDeleteExactly the opposite from you today! :)
ReplyDeleteYup!!
ReplyDeleteI Love POI.
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time and SG-1!
ReplyDeleteOnce Upon a Time, this year's most pleasant surprised for me.
ReplyDeleteAnd Friends, which somehow never gets old!
Once Upon A Time & Friends, I've never seen the other 2 shows
ReplyDeleteFor Zack Levi,David Joel Moore, & Adam Baldwin fans,
ReplyDeletehttp://www.break.com/nerdmachine-2012/nerd-machine-trailer-park-heroes-pt-2-2342391
their version of the Walking Dead!
Definitely Friends and BIG problem with the first poll....Let's say OUaT. But love them both!
ReplyDeleteYeah, glad this is back. My choices are bound to lose today but I'm going with Person of Interest since I dropped Once Upon a Time midway through. Emma and Henry annoyed me more than the Mayor and Rumpelstiltskin drew me. I also chose Stargate SG-1. I liked Friends but for the first several years Stargate was epic.
ReplyDeleteVoted for POI and Friends
ReplyDeleteBy the looks of it Friends and OUAT is going to go to the next round
Voted for POI and Friends.
ReplyDeleteEasy voting today - Once Upon a Time (I haven't seen Person of Interest) and Friends.
ReplyDeleteFor me person of interest in the first poll as that only one I have seen. In the second poll, Friends as out of the two of them that the one I have re-watch sence they finished.
ReplyDeleteI was super shocked to see OUaT trouncing PoI. I watch both shows but PoI by far stimulates me the most. And Stargate SG-1, I can see how it's losing to Friends, but I voted for SG-1 b/c it was indeed epic for the first three seasons and was always bummed they never made another theatrical release.
ReplyDeletePOI
ReplyDeleteperson of interest i think should win. the lead characters just do their jobs so well and is one of the best acton tv shows ive seen in a long time. obviously friends as well...easy choice
ReplyDeleteYeah, already expected that both my choices today would be on the loosing side.
ReplyDeleteFirst poll was a bit difficult to decide since I watched and liked both of them. Of course Michael Emerson trumped the fairy tale.
2nd one was easy after having seen nearly every SG-1 episode and none Friends.
SG-1 would always loose since Friends was such a mainstream series and even though SG-1 is highly regarded by Genre fans, SpoilerTV has much more visitors who have either never watched a Stargate show or not liked it enough.
ReplyDeleteI figured OUaT would win but not by this much especially since PoI has a former LOST alum and gets relatively high praise on this site. Of course PoI is older-skewing and procedural while OUat is younger and genre, both things that tend to have a bigger online presence. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.
ReplyDeleteHonestly didn't get into POI and love OUAT. Gotta vote SG1 as well.
ReplyDeleteOOT & Friends for me sorry SG-1 Fans!!
ReplyDeleteVery easy choices for me.
ReplyDeletePerson of Interest - trumps OUaT in every single way
Friends - never watched Stargate
I've got to admit that at first I didn't like Emerson in the role. Now I love him in it. Absolutely perfect as Finch (or Wren, or Robin, or whatever).
ReplyDeleteI didn't vote in the first poll since I don't watch either shows. In the second poll I voted for Stargate SG-1. For a while that show was great and I really enjoyed watching that show. :)
ReplyDeleteI was never a fan of Friends so SG-1 takes me vote today.
ReplyDeleteLikewise I found Once Upon a Time almost painful to watch at times (despite decent writing and performances at other times) and I could not get into it whatsoever.
Person of Interest interested me from its first announcement and it did not let me down. Good performances and strong writing, although both of those will not be enough for me in a season or two unless they amp up the serial aspect of the series.
Person of Interest.
Stargate SG-1.
Oh no how could you! ;)
ReplyDeleteNever watched Friends or Stargate SG-1 religiously so I didn't vote there but Person of Interest all the way! One of the best shows in the competition if you ask me!
ReplyDeleteHated Friends. OUAT vs POI is a painful painful choice....
ReplyDeleteGotta be POI and Stargate SG1
Easy choice - OUAT and Friends :)
ReplyDeletePerson of Interest hands down! altho I'm also a fan of OUAT.
ReplyDeleteonce upon of time taking the lead..AWESOME..but i vote for person of interest i like both shows
ReplyDeletePerson of Interest and Friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen any of these shows except Friends so it gets my vote. Planning to watch Once Upon A Time but there are too many shows!
ReplyDeleteI voted for Stargate SG1. Nothing is better than a bunch of heroes exploring the unknown. It was a great show and I'll give my other vote to Person of Interest with my old friend from Lost.
ReplyDeleteSorry Laura! I am a Science Fiction addict however Friends makes me Laugh! :)
ReplyDeleteJust so you don't think I've disappeared again, the next round will be up this evening :)
ReplyDeleteAll's forgiven,lol.... ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow,thanks Adam!
ReplyDeleteJust don't let it happen again,ha!! ;) Next round will be up tonight!
ReplyDeleteCan't believe SG1 lost,sad day in tvland,ha! I'm following you here now!
