hmmmm...I am loving Eric and Bill as a team. Now I'm wondering who Lafayette is talking to...I spent most of the pre-marketing thinking it was Sookie but now I'm not so sure.
if it is sookie sorry i hate him now , Tara made her own choice to save sookie from debbie , and Lafayette told Pam to turn Tara ,it's not sookies fault that Debbie was jealous of sookie and wanted her dead.x
I hate Lafayette if that is sookie he is talking to cause Tara made her own choice to save sookie from debbie , and Lafayette told Pam to turn Tara ,it's not sookies fault that Debbie was jealous of sookie and wanted her dead. This looks awesome! but Bill .....is going make sookie do something mmmm and he doesn't care if she wants to ,well i did say he was an ass all these years he proved me right ,hope Eric doesn't let him or agree .I like Nora so hope she doesn't die cause if she does Eric will go insane he already lost Godric and Nora is in Vampire years lol his sister .But poor sookie all her life is pain and misery .Alcide looks like he is still talking to sookie after her killing debbie so thats good ....Eric looks bad ass again on his chair lol thats the eric i love sorry i hated puppy eric though it gave a different side of him .
I just hate the way Eric is being portrayed in his scenes with the rest of the Vampire Authority. Eric is more than double the age of any vampire there, yet he is being treated as the weakest. If I didn't already know that Eric was over 1100 years old then I would think that he was only like 100 in those scenes.
Actually, I think, from interviews mostly, these guys are way older than Eric. Solome has got bout be around 2000 (if my memory that she appears in the Old Testament is correct), I keep hearing that Christopher Meloni's vamp is somewhere around 3000 and Carolyn Hennessy said her character is closer to 3000. Not sure about the kid. So I've been left with the impression that everyone at the table is older than Eric. The whole thing did get me wondering about how politics shakes out Bill being so much younger than Eric but being King.
*but Bill .....is going make sookie do something mmmm and he doesn't care if she wants to ,well i did say he was an ass all these years he proved me right ,*
IMO Bill is Super two faced...If you didn't catch it, Rosyln Harris called Nora out on being politically radical all for LOVE, which she then suggested Nora cared about BOTH Eric and Bill (as Roslyn mentioned that's a sandwhich she'd like to take a bite out of!--ewww)...Nora also said she was from Suri...Bill's flash back last season was in London, 1982 with Nan, who was then recruiting Bill....so it seems likely the two crossed paths...but who knows why Bill was in London to begin with...and how old Nora is?
"If Chris Meloni's vamp is around 3000 years old then why does he need Eric and Bill's help to kill Russell if he is older than Russell?"
Roman is the head of The Authority, a worldwide organization. He has other responsibilities and he has no idea where to find Edgington. Eric and Bill have a much better chance of finding him. Besides, it's Eric and Bill's mess and they need to clean it up.
"Eric's more that double the age of Roman so why is he letting the authority push him around?"
It's not just Roman Eric has to worry about. Roman has the full force of a worldwide network of well-funded, heavily armed vampires at his disposal. Do you really think that if Eric killed Roman or refused his orders that the people in the Authority headquarters would have let him leave there alive? Of course not. He would have been a dead man.
Bruce_F gave a much better answer to your first question than I could. I agree with him. I suppose that while, age is a major factor, there is a much more complex social structure here than just one rule (i.e. defer to your elders.) in effect at a time. If it were all about age then Roman couldn't command power with the council.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Cannot wait for next sunday!!

ReplyDeleteYou can see the back of Sookie's head when he says it. To compare you can see Sookie earlier in the clip (:02-:04) and it matches.

ReplyDeleteYeah Eric is back home..... with Pam (I hope so) =)
ReplyDeleteYikes. I guess Eric and Pam still aren't making up.

You don't even know what he's asking her yet.
Yeah, Alexander (the kid) is supposed to be a few thousand years old, too. I don't think there's anyone on the Council who's under 2,000.
ReplyDeleteyeh but the fact he say's he isn't even giving her choice ,well thats low and controlling ,but if am wrong al say so....

Thanks for the True Blood Wiki sight.
