She will also begin taping for her four-episode appearance on ABC Family's scripted drama "Switched at Birth" where she will play Robin Swiller, a motocross racer who is the love interest of a leading character.

    I believe your right. I think their bringing her on to give Emmett a taste of what he thought was his perfect and ideal girlfriend only to find out that she's not.

    Though, to play devil's advocate, I can't help to think it's too obvious... so maybe Toby? He's girlfriendless too and needs some love more than Emmett IMO, seeing as e was the one who got cheated on.

    That's possible too, of course but I think Toby is going to find love with a girl who has a knack for music, so they can literally make sweet music together, I remember reading that somewhere on wetpaint awhile back. Either way, still bummed that Daphne's love interest is now on the Carrie Diaries, when that bombs, maybe he can come back.

    I still agree with you that it's for Emmett because according to what I've been reading Emmett and Daphne go to a motorcycle show together in episode 26.
