I gave this one an "ok", because even though I enjoyed the idea of the (and I liked how they "almost acknowledged it) "terminator-like" systematic elimination women named Lily Jones to test the timeline theory and rid themselves of Kira, it seemed idiotic that: they didn't just kill her in the last ep when she gave up Kagame for the mother and baby, and when the psycho doctor stabbed her on the street to get a dna sample - she could just have easily stabbed, injected poison into her, or just shot her.... that whole bit was not written well, unless Kagame has other plans for her - which he doesn't seem to have. Well, my earlier theory that Alec's stepbrother turns out to be Kagame got blown up when Kagame recognized his pregnant mother with Kellog. But you have to figure that the stepbrother will eventually be pivotal in the future terrorist organization somehow, and something about Kira's husband in the future doesn't feel right somehow....
Yet another awesome episode. This show is seriously my favorite new thing this summer. Perfect amount of tension and plot. Reminds me a bit of better days of 4400. Love that terrorist side is given the needed amount of gray morality.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
very very good!!!

ReplyDeleteI think they figured that if they get rid of her they might as well do two things with one shot - test out the theory and kill her.

ReplyDeleteAgreed. Perfect explanation.
ReplyDeleteI like how the "x of the week" is ALWAYS tied into the larger plotline in a major way. This show continues a solid run.
ReplyDeleteawesome episode, loved the scene where Kiera discovers that she was pregnant
ReplyDeleteAnyone else besides me wondering why Alec kept staring at the image of Lily on his tablet at the end of the episode?
