  1. Pretty good ep. I do like that they are trying to emphasize Kira is getting better at trusting her gut rather than depending on her tech. I didn't get why the gang took over the pot dealers site other than to gain a hideout. It seemed rather random other than a means to show off the females as fighters (which the sequence felt a bit too obvious in it's choreography) and perhaps to have a place to spark a few joints in. I like the arrival of Kagame, as a means to raise the stakes although his flashback didn't reveal much to his or the terrorists background. I'm guessing that he espoused peaceful resistance until it becomes personal like if his family are killed/hurt. The least believable part of the ep for me was that Kagame and crew let Kira live after trading Kagame for the baby/mother as they have shown no care about innocents most likely would've taken her out and the last thing that they would want is a future cop who might throw a wrench in their plans. I'm curious about what Kellog is up to besides making a lot of money and apparently helping out his grandmother and her family without trying to make it seem like he's being creepy.

  2. What struck me the most in this episode was how Keira had to make a choice between nailing somebody she knew was guilty and not messing up the future she wants to return to. What a quandry that is, and I'm sure it won't be the last time she faces it. Still, I'm pretty sure that what Alec said in one of the first eps is true - that she may be experiencing a time loop, so whatever she does won't change anything because it already happened like this with her there in the past. The fact that the Alec in the future insisted on Keira being inside the chamber and the knowing smile he gave her when he said their introduction was 'long overdue' makes me think that he did meet Keira as a young man and remembered it.

Is it just me, or is Keira's husband somewhat creepy? I don't know why, but I had him pegged as a shady character the whole time. Do you think he could be Kagame's son, the one who was abducted during the meeting in the shrine?

Yes, I thought the exact same thing about Alec remembering her. and I follow your theory about a time loop. You could clearly see on his face that he remembered her

  5. This really is a great new show. Glad they finally addressed the "is this the action I need to take to ensure my future happens?" issue.
