    Decent ep. The fish out of water thing is getting a bit played as for a cop, she doesn't seem to observe her surroundings to clue her in on how not to draw attention to herself: like loudly talking to herself in the coffee shop before she put the bluetooth earpiece in, not knowing that you have to dial to use it). She's supposed to be smart, so you'd think that she'd at least do some research on how to act (the rock/paper/scissor thing I might forgive). I know that it's supposed to be for a bit of light comedy, but write it smarter, or just stop using it. I hope that they don't wait too long before she has to clue her partner in on what's going on. With the reveal of the meeting that Alec was forced to attend, I'm going to guess and say that the future leader of the Liber8 terrorists is Alec's stepbrother..

    I agree with using the cell/bluetooth thing .. way too weak & I didn't think it was funny :(

    I really hope she tells him soooooon too.. she can't beat those alone..

    Pretty good VFX for a Showcase series! I am finiding things a bit repetative for only seeing 3 episodes.
    Liber8 is not as interesting to me as weekly bad guys as the anti-corporate movement in the future or the anti-technology movement is in the present honestly. I want to know the part that Alec played in the corporate takeover of government.... and if and how his step-families movement fits into the future. 

    Also I want to know more about the future conspiracy that allowed Liber8 to go back in time. It certainly looked like Alec allowed Kierra to get caught up in it all. Was he just letting events transpire that needed to happen for his past to connect to his future or was he trying to change things?

    I really hate slow motion fight scenes. That alone is enough to make me stop watching a series if they keep doing it.
    Only a few episodes in of course, but I need to see more of what makes Liber8 so dangerous. So far they seem more like genetically enhanced gangsters than a threat to humanity.Hopefully seeing more of Edouard Kagame will show why Liber8 is a so dangerous and connect to the larger conspiracy.

    I voted OK for this episode. Something seems to be falling flat for me after the promising pilot episode.... Not sure exactly what yet, but hopefully they will hit their stride and everything will start to work better after a few set up episodes are laid out.

    I actually found the blue tooth bit funny. 

    Not the part about her not understanding how it works (although personally I would expect that from someone who has never used the primitive technology before), but the part about the ridiculous retail packaging made me laugh. I have said something similar too many times to count just in 2012 alone.

    I agree - they seemed to go out of their way in that episode to create future conflict between the two.
