Thanks to WolfTVAddict for the heads up.
Specifically of interest in the article is where it says: The actor (Jeffrey Donovan) says Michael does win Fiona's release by capturing a "very bad person" for the CIA, but in that capture one of the main characters is killed. "Eventually you're going to see the whole team on the run because of what the team does to avenge this person's death," he says.

Very cryptic but very intriguing. I think this season is ramping up to be one of the best plot wise.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting. I've heard rumors that Nate dies, I wonder if that's the death their referring to (although I wouldn't really call Nate a main character). So far this season has been really intense and it sounds like they are going to really ramp it up. Can't wait to see how this plays out.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing that they capture Anson since he's at the top of the CIA's wanted list now that he killed some of their agents at the beginning of the season. And Nate's more than likely the death (unless they've been putting out foilers).
ReplyDeleteBut I'm really curious to see how it all goes down. And we've seen the team on the run for an episode or two at a time, but I'm wondering if them being on the run is going to be the second half season arc. I think it'd be fun and a nice change of pace if it was done right.
Nate Michael's brother is the DB in this one!
ReplyDeleteI heard that Nate is going to be killed but he's not a main character, is he?
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if this will be the final season for Maddie. In this last episode we saw how each of Michael's inner circle were threatened with death but each survived. It could also be Jesse but I'm thinking that Maddie's death would have a huge affect on each of the main characters left especially with Michael and Nate.
ReplyDeleteBesides, if they are all going on be on the run, I'm thinking Maddie doesn't fit into the story lines of a group that is constantly moving.
Agreed Dahne 100%. I really am enjoying it so far.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I'd love to see them on the run from the CIA as they probably avenge the death against the CIA's wishes.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking it will be the winter arc this year. The question will be where they run to and who all goes along. Will Jesse be with them? Madeline? Also they can't stay on the run forever. Eventually they will have to go back to Miami, which opens up the question of whether it is the police after them or someone else.
ReplyDeleteBeing on the run from the CIA would definitely be better than on the run from the police. At least with the CIA they can participate in some shady mission, bring home a win, and get back to Miami. Not sure how that happens if the police have evidence that they murdered someone.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking that they may be on the run from a powerful criminal syndicate and these teasers are purposely misleading us. If so it could lead us directly to the next Big Bad, who will hopefully be more fun than Anson.
I'm pretty sure I read an interview that confirmed Sharon Glass would continue on the show. After all, her nomination for best supporting actress is the only Emmy love Burn Notice has ever gotten.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure that by main character they simply mean someone who has been a recurring character for years. Of course, they may be playing a huge cosmic joke on us with Nate as bait in the switcheroo.
ReplyDeleteSad to say, i think it will be Nate. But the whole team will be on the run? I don't like the thought of any of this. 4 years of trying to get Michael's job back and he cannot catch a break. Then he looses it? NO D:
ReplyDeleteNate is the death, that's been going round for a while. Whilst he's not a main, main character, it makes sense - he's important to the team, so his death will affect all of them, but he's not so important that they'll lose fans if they kill him off. What I'm hoping is that Fi's release is not overshadowed by Nate's death, but I fear it will be. We'll probably have a whole episode on the Anson take-down and Nate's death, and then a few minutes at the end when Fi gets out, but Michael will be a mess over Nate, and he'll be so focused on revenge, then they're going on the run... we probably won't get many Mike/Fi moments :( Sucks, but still sounds like a really exciting season, cannot wait!
