  1. None of the above. I will be watching Melissa and Joey though, I watched all 30 season 1 episodes last weekend and loved it.

  2. Personally Continuum is the only must watch for me at the moment Dallas sounds good but i didnt watch the original so not sure might try Anger Management

  3. More excited for The Newsroom than I have been for any tv show in a long time - which is saying something, because I get very excited for tv shows rather frequently ;)

  4. I'm counting Common Law as a summer show, so that one.

Older shows airing this summer - Leverage, White Collar, Rizzoli and Isles, Melissa and Joey, and more that I'm probably forgetting.

  5. I'll be watching: Saving Hope, Continuum, Bunheads & Baby Daddy!! Saving Hope has Daniel Gilles in it. Love the character Elijah that he plays on the Vampire Diaries & Daniel is an amazing actor! Continuum looks really good as well. I love science fiction shows & this one sounds really interesting! Baby Daddy sounds a lot like the show Raising Hope. I love Raising Hope so I'll definitely check it out. I saw the trailer for Bunheads & it looks really good! Can't wait to watch these shows!

  6. I will watch The Newsroom for sure and probably I'll give a shot (a Pilot) to Transporters and Dallas. And probably even Anger Management.

  8. kinda seems there are more awesome shows in the summer than in the fall lol

  9. Saving Hope and nothing else.

  10. Only Perception this summer along with my other returning shows :)

  11. Newsroom is at the top of the list....
I will also probably be watching Copper, Longmire and The Transporter....
I will check out (but have low expectations of) Anger Management and Continuum.

  12. Continuum and The Newsroom for sure. Maybe Longmire and Transporter too.

  13. Dallas!!! Plus Anger management.

  14. As of now, I've decided on:
    Common Law
    Anger Management
    News Room

    ReplyDelete
  15. Yeah it is a great comedic show.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Copper

    Common Law
    Political Animals
    The Newsroom
    Anger Management

Maybe Longmire, Major Crimes and Dallas.

Also the late-night shows from Russell Brand, and the one produced by Chris Rock.

Is Transporter really comming this summer? I tought that was delayed since the producers left the project. If that so, Transporter: The Series also.

  17. Newsroom is the one I care about the most also interested by Copper

  18. 6 new shows are of interest to me :

    — The Newsroom.
    — Political Animals.
    — Copper.
    — Hit & Miss.
    — Coup.
    — Clash.

Coup is a four-part Channel 4 conspiracy series starring Gabriel Byrne (In Treatment (watch that show)), Hit and Miss is a six-part Sky Atlantic drama series from Paul Abbott (creator of Shameless) starring Chloë Sevigny as a transgender hitman (and it will start this month, at last) and Clash is a six-part France 2 drama series centered on teenagers (it seems more Skins than CW/ABC Family, thankfully).

I think I'll watch the pilot of Anger Management, but I'd be very surprised if I watch the next 9 episodes. Plus, knowing that if it is successful (it will be) FX will order 90 episodes is a big turn off. It will be CBS-like, it will be cheap, they don't care about character development, they just want to produce a certain amount of episodes for syndication prospects (I think that's what this 90-episode order would be linked to).

  19.  Checking out Anger Management?  You're definitely more adventurous than I.

  20.  I'm surprised to see such a vote tally for Continuum considering it's a Canadian exclusive broadcast.  Either there's a lot of canucks on the site today or the Spoiler TV community makes good use of scene releases.

  21. I'm one of those that liked Charlie Spin City on 2.5Men (and a few movies) a lot and could not care less about his personal life..... I'm guessing it won't be great (maybe not even good), but being it does have Sheen I will check it out.

    ReplyDelete
  22.  I felt the same way about Sheen on those sitcoms and also held the same opinion of his personal life until the sh*t hit the fan a while back.  Even I can't get past it now.

  23. Ha!

I'n guessing it's not because of Rachel Nichols being in it because so many on here loathed her on Criminal Minds! XD

I think it's the latter...plus anything SciFi has a built in genre advantage for this and many fansites I guess.

  24. I remember reading about Hit & Miss... it sounds quite unique and interested me too.

I had not heard about Coup, but I have liked Gabrielle Byrne since Miller's Crossing and I liked Top Boy on ch$... so that might be worth checking out too!

Thanks for the reminders and info!!

  25. I can't speak to Nichols on Criminal Minds since I don't watch (I abandoned a lot of procedurals some years back because I burned out on them) but I thought she was alright on Alias.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Found 2 promo stills of Hit & Miss with Chloe.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yeah she was good on Alias...
I also liked her on the short-lived series "The Inside" (ironically it was a Criminal Minds clone)..... and a few of her movies. I'm not a huge fan exactly, but having her as a lead is definitely not a negative... unlike having Victor Webster as lead! XD

Not sure. I'll wait for comments on this site before I commit to any more TV for the summer. I promised myself a Lost rewatch, and my DVR is 85% full, so I'll be busy.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Major Crimes, that's for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I can't afford Showcase, BBC America or Cinemax :-( , and ABC Family scews too young for my tastes.

Other than those, I'll give everything else a look. Looking forward to seeing Erica and Michael on Saving Hope>

  32. Ouch=/ none of these seem interesting to be at all, I will be giving hbo's newsroom a chance and maybe that transporter series but the new summer shows this year are lacking.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Most definitely will watch Newsroom, and I will most likely give Longmire a chance too, courtesy of Katee Sackhoff. I don't start new series easily (most of the time, comments on this side steer me in the right direction and you guys are seldom off!), but once in a while an actor/actress just amazes me so much (like Katee on BSG) that I can't help wanting to check out their next work.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'll be checking out SAVING HOPE for sure. Love the cast and the concept.

    ReplyDelete
  35.  Saving Hope! Erica Durance is perfect.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I'm thinking of checking out Newsroom, Perception and Major Crimes.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Political Animals because it's on USA and I always give their shows a shot.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Newsroom and Political Animals, I think.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Sampling
    Anger Management
    Dallis
    Bunheads
    Baby Daddy
    Saving Hope

    ReplyDelete
  40. I can not express how much I am waiting for Major Crimes.  I love the entire cast of The Closer.  Kyra will be missed, but Mary McDonnell is amazing as Captain Sharon Raydor.  I love her in everything she has ever done.

  42. Gabriel Byrne in a four-part conspiracy drama sounds very interesting.

     Thanks for the info

  43. I checked that show and to my surprise Sigourney Weaver is in. Wow!

  44. The Newsroom on HBO  and Political Animals on USA Network.
    Already watching White Collar

Also Coup  on Channel 4, thanks to bunky-bunk post

    ReplyDelete
  45. That was another part of its appeal.  TV is getting some fine actors these days.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I'm a little afraid to check out SAVING HOPE because NBC is known for canceling shows I like because the storyline gets dull after a few episodes.  But, I am praying this is an EXCEPTION because I love the concept and characters.  Plus, when Grey's is idle: I need to watch something besides re-runs of GREY'S...please all tune in to see what it is about!  Hope JUNE 7TH hurries up, it has really got me excited for the series.

  47. Apart from maybe Continuum, there's not a lot here to tickle my fancy... which is just as well, because I need to spend the summer catching up on past episodes of Boardwalk Empire, The Killing, Peson of Interest and a few others in time for the "Fall" season.
