    YAY ELIJAH'S BACK!!! I knew Julie wouldnt be cruel and make us wait till the next season. Although I wonder what he and rebecca are up to. Rebecca seems to have gotten in the way of the car and matt and elena fell into the water in the car. Interesting and its funny they didnt show anything of the flashback were having lol.

    It will be an interesting finale, I think.  Have to wait and see how it goes.  Elijah being back is good, as long as I don't lose my Klaus.  I like him.

    Elijah!! They are repeating the scene when her parents went of the bridge except with her and Matt, I'm guessing the flashback will be when she is half dead or in the hospital thinking about the night her parents died. If Elena dies and becomes a vamp then would Alaric would die too ? Spoiler alert: in the books didn't Elena die when her car went off a bridge?

    Can't wait for the finale! Based off of what of everything we've heard, what happened this week, and this promo my predictions are that the mission that Damon and Stefan get ready to go off on is to retrieve Klaus's body, Matt dies (hence triggering Elena's memories of happier times and the car crash), and Jeremy makes a deal with Alaric to dagger Klaus once the brothers retrieve him (after all he did say his #1 priority this week was protecting Elena and he's developed a strong dislike for vampires, especially since he came back from Denver so I think he'd be willing to risk killing Damon, Stefan, Caroline, and Tyler if it meant protecting her).

    Just spitballing :) Anyone else have any theories?

    I figured Elijah would be back before the season ended. I wonder what he's up to? And I'm assuming the car going off the bridge was the accident from the flashback, unless Julie Plec is going for irony.

    I think that Elena only lives, because of Klaus lives. So when Klaus dies, Elena will die too. And than Alarick also...

    Yaaay!! Elijah is back :)) and i heard Katherine will be back too ..sooo, once again: YAAAY!! I wonder what she is going to do now that Klaus is gone and she doesn´t have to run anymore..
    I can´t wait for this episode!! but i´m also kind of sad its the season finale because its the last episode before the summer break :(

    I really hope that we're going to see a decent Damon and Alaric face off. If anyone's going to take Ric down, I want it to be Damon. 

    Delighted to see Elijah back. Although I must admit I'd rather not have seen it in the promo, he'd have been a lovely surprise!
