  19. Not much of a surprise there that OUaT is in the lead. :)
Counting down the hours already. I'll stay up quite late to watch it, but I'll far too excited and terrified to sleep anyway.
Fingers crossed it doesn't disappoint! (especially when it comes to the Regina/Henry/Emma story) I'm hoping that Regina & Emma will 'team up' to destroy the curse!

Speak for yourself. I'm so sad OUaT is ending :( I hate finale season, all of my fave shows are done until September :'(

I doubt it'll be an amicable arrangement, lol. I hope Regina goes all EQ on Emma; lately it's been too much sly planning and not enough epic badassness (although I do enjoy the scheming). The writers want us to like Emma? Pin her against a REAL threat from Regina *cough*dragon*cough*

  27. Game of Thrones and Mad men. Jaime is back tonight......yay!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I still didn´t get around to watch this seasons The killing. Is it as good as the first season?

    ReplyDelete
  29. I know, right?! It will be good to have Jaime back. GoT is a great show.

  30. Once Upon A Time, Game of Thrones, and Mad Men!

  33.  Indeed! Enjoy  :)

  34. Hahaha, not at all amicable! :D
But I do want Regina to help save Henry, not just Emma, because that will determine her storyarc in season 2. If Henry dies because of Regina, that will just push her over the edge & make sympathy for the character nearly impossible. On the other hand, if she helps save him, that will set a nice redemption arc for next season and will make for a more interesting story.

I keep thinking that Henry's condition will be somewhat tied to the Dark Curse and Regina will have to eventually make a choice between revenge over Snow and the love she has for Henry.

For the sake of revenge, she sacrificed "the thing she loved most" to enact the curse, so breaking it would require sacrificing revenge for the sake of "the thing she loves most" now. It will be an interesting parallel of her sacrificing Henry Snr and saving Henry Jr. So I think that she will indeed help emma break the curse in order to save her son.
And maybe the breaking of the curse requires "a final battle", hence the fight in the hospital? :D
Anyway, a few hours left now, I'm giddy! And I would love to see her back in EQ mode and kicking ass!

Game of Thrones and OUAT finale.

  36.  Yes, I think it is as dark, disturbing and creepy as the first season...so I like it! :-) Although I really watch it for the cast, and so the characters, more than the investigation. How is Mad Men this season? I still have to watch it!

  37.  Happy Mother's Day sister!!!!! :-)
Here I have to wait until June 03!

    ReplyDelete
  38.  Are you going to be a Mama?

    ReplyDelete
  39.  LOL
OMG noooo, I'm already a mom of 2 young boys, that's enough for my happiness for now!
Only I have to wait to celebrate, because in France MD is June 03! :-)

  40. I am speaking for myself :-)

Sad for OUAT too but at least I have others show I like to watch until september.
Usually, I also use summer time to try a few new shows I haven't watched yet. It make the hiatus more bearable.

  41.  OMG you have 2 little ones! How old are they? I didn't realize in France it was celebrated in June..

    Jini i can't believe your a Mama! That's wonderful  :D

    ReplyDelete
  42. It's pretty similar to last year... a little darker and a little slower I think. How different can it be though, they are still investigating the same people for the same case! XD

I started watching another show from Denmark this month and I'm loving it so far. Broen/ Bron/ The Bridge.

I need to check out more Scandinavian Crime Drama!
I've loved what I have seen (or read) like Wallander, The Killing, The Bridge... Millennium Trilogy.. etc.

  43.  Indeed I'm really an happy Mama, I'm well aware I'm lucky and I can't imagine a life without them! :-)
My sons are 5 and 8 years old and they are really nice, smart, funny, healthy, they love ALL animals (such as the family could grow almost daily, quite as a Noah's Ark), they like to play ALL sports and they love to read, to paint, to draw, to sing, to dance, to play music, to play guitar and above all to laugh!
My sweet little boys are full of life! :-)I can't wait to have my gifts on MD! :-D

  44.  Jini, your boys sound wonderful! Thanks to good parents! I'm sure you are looking forward to mothers day, maybe you will get your very own pet,ha! Yes kids love animals,i also grew up with all different animals, and if they were strays home they came..Jini you are so blessed and it does y heart good!  :)

  45. Yeah, Broen is pretty good too. Millennium Trilogy is brilliant ofcourse. You should check out some danish films. They are just so different than the american movies. Often with a very morbid sence of humor. Love them!

Hmmm.....just the fact that they are still on the same case keeps me away.

  46. I like dark and creepy....:-) It´s also the characters that I like. Just wish that they would move of to another case....

Mad Men is good this season. Don is a little happier, which actually works for him. It somehow seems a little more personal this season, not as much talk about the work projects as usual.

  47. Any suggestions as far as movies or other Crime Drama series?

I like bleak and grim, dark and moody and I also do love black humor.

    ReplyDelete
  48. As far as Crime Drama goes there is a series called "Den som dræber", with Lars Mikkelsen(Mads Mikkelsens brother). It is really good. Heard rumors about them making an american version already.

As far as films go check out movies like Hævnen (in a better world), Frygtelig lykkelig (terribly happy, with Kim Bodnia from Broen), or Adams æbler, one of my all time favorites because it is so dark and so funny at the same time (with Mads Mikkelsen and Ulrich Thomsen).
