  1. DO NO HARM and REVOLUTION both look good. I like Jesse Spencer and Taylor Kinney but I don't think CHICAGO FIRE will be my cup of tea, and even if I watch it it will only be solely for them.

INFAMOUS would normally be my kind of show but I have REVENGE to fill that cup for me already. I'm also interested in seeing HANNIBAL because of Hugh Dancy.

On the comedy side, THE NEW NORMAL will be good.

All in all, NBC has many fantastic ACTORS in their new crop of shows this season, here's to hoping that the execution of the new series will be just as great as the cast.

  2. I went with Revolution and Chicago Fire they both look interesting.  I'm looking forward to Hannibal but since it's airing mid-season I won't count it.

  3. Revolution and Hannibal look the most promising.

I can almost assure you that half of the new comedies will get cancelled by next May. Hopefully Revolution and Hannibal will be the much-needed original dramas that NBC has lacked since the cancellation of Heroes.

  4. Revolution without a doubt.

I may check otu a couple NBC comedies this year which is shocking to me. I have not liked an NBC comedy since its golden years when they were a comedy Juggernaut. Both Animal Practice and Next Caller will get a trial run from me I think.

  5. Revolution is the only one i care about this year from NBC

  6. I just watched all the clips for the new shows most were bad or boring but Revolution seems OK just hope its not next seasons FlashForward/Event/Terra Nova

  7. Revolution definitely.
As much as I like Matthew Perry I don't see Go On doing that well unfortunately.  The others don't seem interesting to me, and I am biased with my love for Community which is making me hope for the fall of all NBC's other shows so they treat Community right.

  8. REVOLUTION AND HANNIBAL !

ERIC KRIPKE (SUPERNATURAL) and BRIAN FULLER (PUSHING DAISIES) guys !

  9. I voted for Chicago Fire and The New Normal, but if I could, I would have also voted for Revolution. Those three look great just from the sneak peeks. I may also tune in to Go On just to see if Matthew Perry does well of if it's another 'Mr Sunshine'; Hannibal, because it sounds interesting; and maybe Infamous. Next Caller and Animal Practice are on my MAYBE, I GOTTA SEE MORE list and I'm still unsure about 1600 Penn. I just saw the sneak peeks and I can't remember what they were about. Everything else, especially Guys with Kids and Save Me, look like crap.

  10. I'm only really looking forward to CHICAGO FIRE, but might have to check out REVOLUTION and NEXT CALLER as well. We'll see.

  11. That's exactly what I was thinking. The show looks promissing, but so did Flash Forward, The Event and Terra Nova and they all tanked. I am rooting for it though.

  12. NONE at all. NBC does a stupid move in my book putting REVOLUTION up vs. H5O.

  13. wait! so thats it all the other pilots are not moving forward!? D: not even midnight sun?!

  14. Revolution looks interesting and Animal Practice looks like it may be fun and i'm kinda curious about Hannibal but everything else looks like the usual soon to be canceled NBC stuff

  15. Yeah I'm hoping it will be great and somehow get an audience

  16. Yeah. As a huge H50 fan, I'm more than a little annoyed and pissed off by this.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Revolution, might check out Saving Hope for Michael Shanks. Why isn't that on the list btw?

  18. I'm in Community-rage right now, and unlike The Hulk I lose my underwear when I'm pissed like that.
So I will tell you which new NBC shows I'm most looking forward to see... FLOPPING, and that's all of them, except Revolution and Animal Practice — but if Animal Practice gets in the way of a back 9 or a return of Community from the Friday death slot, then I'll say screw Annie's Boobs and Justin Kirk.

Revolution and Animal Practice are the most interesting, judging by the clips. I'm in for both of them.
I did not particularly enjoy the clips of Go On, Save Me and 1600 Penn, but I wouldn't bury them too fast  :

    - Sure, Go On seems far from perfect but I give it the benefit of the doubt and I feel that if the supporting cast is great and if the show focuses on the group (yes, I want this show to be the new Community), this group therapy thing has potential on the long haul.

    - 1600 Penn's clip was pure crap, I agree, but it may not be representative of the show (which takes place at the White House, last time I checked). I hope the fat guy isn't the lead and that the show won't feature only "fish out of the water" type of situations, because it gets old real fast.

    - Save Me doesn't seem that bad. The pitch has a cable vibe to it. I don't care about the God thing or whether the main character is judgmental as long as it remains an interesting character. I came to like Anne Heche during the 3rd season of Hung (season 1 was average, season 2 was bad but season 3 was really cool) and I think she's doing a great job there. Also, the guy didn't horripilate me, a good thing. I'll need more than that to decide myself on the show.

  19. Revolution by far, also looking forward to Chicago Fire, Hannibal, Animal Practice and Infamous.

I'm hoping 1600 Penn and Go On are going to be better than the clips I've seen.

  20. Revolution is pretty much it.

  21. Where's the option for 'none of the above'?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Revolution. And I see most people do.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Revolution and Animal Practice. Those two were very high on my list during the development period too, and after having seen the sneaks they're still on the top (at least where NBC is concerned)

  24. Revolution- C a n n o t  w a i t  f o r   t h i s !!!!!

Animal Practice- I'm not into comedy's much i have to see this, whether i stick with it is something else!

1600 Penn- Doubt i'll watch but i like Bill Pullman, yet not that kid..I'll watch once just to see.

  25. Revolution is a definite. A few others I'm curious about but I'll wait until there's more info on them.

  26. Revolution and Hannibal so far...

  27. Revolution and Infamous rest seem terrible

  28. Revolution looks pretty cool. I'm optimistic that NBC gave it the nice timeslot after The Voice.

  29. Cannot wait to watch infamous with Laz Alonso and Meagan Good!!

  30. Must have missed that - as much as I'll want to see Revolution, I"m loyal to H50

  31. You did it! Maw maw is your new avatar. Love it. I took on Zombie Sophia for a little while, anyway.

I also watched the Go On clip and thought "Community." A random group of goofy people get together and bond. I might like it. And will like Animal Practice for sure.

  32. I'm less excited about Revolution than most people, but expect to love Animal Practice and Chicago Fire.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yes, I stored that avatar longer than I thought but at last, Community is renewed, so nowadays prepare yourself to see a lot of Maw Maw holding her breath in various topics :p.

Speaking of Raising Hope, it surprised me to read you didn't even watch the season finale, because you seem like a big fan of the show. Personally I'd never miss a single episode of one of my favorite shows :

I for one loved every minute of the finale. Meta jokes, references to the show's precarious status, Wally the bad lawyer returning (he reminds me of Arrested Development's Barry Zuckerkorn), lots and lots of guests that have appeared over the past two seasons, and a twist that I personally was a big fan of. I'm Team Sabrina too, but the show has never wanted to be realistic, it was just a little wackier than usual. For a fan that has watched the show from the pilot, I think it's a must see. The fact that Garcia went to such levels of absurdity makes me love the show even more.

As for You-Know-Who finally dead (Klutzy told you so), I wouldn't be so sure :p (if you survive what she's been through, you can survive anything).

As for your avatar, I like it too ! That was an epic scene, wasn't it ? And the music from Bear McCreary, who was very discrete on the show until that moment, was fantastic (he also delivered a lot of quality music in the first part of episode 2.13).
I think the same thing about Go On. Community's trailer was funnier, but I think they have the ingredients you need to have a great ensemble comedy. And Animal Practice made me think of Scrubs for a moment. I've never been a huge fan of Scrubs but I constantly thought it was good (albeit quite repetitive) and Animal Practice seems to have the same pace/style.

  34. A giant fan, but I'm emotional about TV and get angry when I feel let down. That's so mature! Well, I did get upset when I saw they were bringing her back from the dead and took revenge by boycotting the episodes. So they're deleted, but I will pull them up on the computer and watch them. Then I'll be back with my opinion.

    I do miss Maw Maw.

  35. Okay. Watched the finale. It was funny in a bittersweet way. I'm back on the Raising Hope train.

  36. Revolution has a reserved spot on my TV calendar until it either stalls the plot or there becomes a line of questions with no answers.  Sorry Castle but you go to online next year.  Go On  gets a vote solely for Matthew Perry.  That's also why i will probably stop watching after 6 episodes.  All others I expect I will watch the pilot and nothing more or skip altogether.

  37. Revolution, Chicago Fire, and Hannibal are the only ones that got my interest. The rest hmm well nope.
