I didn't think there was something I could love so much. Awesome finale event, awesome episodes, loved how everything wrapped up and bring on Season 4 (please with a back 9 episode order!).
I loved it so much!!! I don't know what to do with myself! Exclamation points!! I can see how it would've made a good series finale, but I am SO glad we've got a fourth season to look forward to (and hopefully with that back 9 order)!!!
But I think Krista Crim is right, there was that bizarre picture of Alison in a weird outfit that I don't think we got to see in the show? And I remember at Paleyfest Joel McHale was talking about something hilarious Jim Rash did and/or wore, and I'm not sure we saw that either. Going to have to look into it again, but hopefully that just means extra stuff for the DVDs.
How there can be such perfection on this world? seriously, I wanna cry of joy. From the arcade adventure to the heist to the evil!abed crossing over, this show has such a rich continuity and doesn't shies form risks in style and narrative, this is a show that deserves to be in the air.
I'm pretty much speechless. Why can't people see how good this is? Why the fuck does this show struggle so much finding an audience? I generally don't care about what others think about anything, but i get so frustrated thinking about how millions and millions line up to watch some generic piece of shit show witch exaggerated laugh tracks, when this brilliant piece of boundary-pushing entertainment barely manages to hang on. The same goes for Parks & Rec.
I'm happy we get a fourth season, but i feel like punching everyone of these generic assholes right in their stupid faces. Just to make them wake the fuck up and broaden their minds a little bit. There's more to comedy than fat jokes and poop jokes(You hear me, Chuck Lorre?).
Sorry for my bad grammar(i'm not american) and explicit language. I'm currently living in the darkest timeline.
Absolutely brilliant episodes! Video game episode was inspired! The ending to the finale was great, they left everyone in a good place. Am I right in thinking that Britta was moving into the spare room? Or were they just bringing some stuff in from the living room?
I hope to see all the little clips at the end played out in full for season four! six seasons and a movie!!
I was hoping for Jeff/Annie to move forward... But well, we have season 4 for that, and i think that Jeff is now on that place where he can open himself to other people for real(Hello! He's looking for his father!), just what Annie wants for him.
But the Britta/Troy relationship really take a bump in this final two episodes!
I really loved Season 3, all characters really grow... This show just keeps getting better! I actually thinks that Friday will be a good thing. A 1.3 for a half hour show is great(By NBC standars) and it's audience is really loyal. A lot of comedies are gonna die before we reach midseason, and that's when Community will have the Back 9 order... Community already have a 1.3 audience that is gonna move to Friday no matter what.
But honestly, i really love the idea of another network picking it up... Just like Cougar Town and TBS. They could actually have picked them both xP
A pair of Cougar Town/Community should be awesome!
Amazing trio of episodes, we got the out their concept ep with the video game and how I laughed and Shirley and Annie covering up the 'murders'. Then we have a great parody of Ocean 11 and I loved it when they were reunited with the Dean and oh god Troy leaving at the end *sobs*. The finale was fantastic, showed the real heart of the show and I loved the little montage at the end.
Did no one else feel the ending was made to look like it was the series finale? It felt really weird because yes it's coming back for season 4 but everyone kinda got a happy ending in the end and they played the opening song :/ Also why did the last episode begin with them already having finished the summer break? Really happy that we get another season, just wanted something to look forward to :)
I think these episodes were a fantastic way to end the season... I can't tell you how many times the video game episode startled a laugh out of me, and each just seemed to get better and better. I can't get over how creative this show is sometimes. Fantastic!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I rate the episodes Cool, Cool, Cool.
ReplyDeleteStarburns Lives!!!
ReplyDeleteWasn't there a video of Alison Brie in a hip hop dancer outfit that was suppose to be for the finale?

The first of the three was over-the-top hilarious! :)
ReplyDeleteSeeing the crew act out as old-school Super Mario avatars was funny to the core! :)
WOW! From 8 bit, to Ocean's (Greendale) 7, to the prevention of the darkest timeline was pure creative comedy ecstasy! Loved all 3!

She was carrying Troy's bag for him. He's moving into the Dreamatorium.

An army of Baby Abeds. Brilliant! Or should I say: cool, cool, cool.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! Awesome! Fantastic!!!

ReplyDeleteOh right! Makes more sense.

ReplyDeleteAmazing!! The 8 bit is easily one of my favourite episodes! So inspired and funny. Covering up the murders was so so funny!!
ReplyDeleteThe creativity and originality of this show is staggering. So underrated.
In the season opener, didn't Annie and Jeff (in the singalong bit) say they were gonna sleep together? Did that happen? Am I imagining things?
