I missed the first ten minutes because I had a mandatory meeting, but I loved what I saw. LOL at the Greendale Seven and the callback to the darkest timeline.
Wow, Britta is possibly the worst grief counselor ever haha.. it was too bad poor Starburns' wake ended up being a forum to bash Greendale (literally), but should we really have expected it to go well? Holy chaos... bringing back the timelines was cool, too.
Good episode, the best part was definitely the end with everyone around the table. I loved the callbacks to the 4th episode with the timelines, the rolling of the die to see who gets pizza, and the delivery guy who Britta would've married in one of the timelines.
Oh it was good :) I loved that they finally showed some "behind the scenes" with the Dean's outfits :P and wow I loved that they were able to get J.P. Manoux to be the faux Dean :D He looks so much like Jim Rush that I had to go look at IMDb to be sure that it was him!
Favourite line EVER!: "You seemed smarter than me when I met you." Actually Jeff/Britta were on FIRE in this episode! Literally any exchange between the two or little jab from either one had me laughing so hard I couldn't breathe...
Amazing episode!!!! Truly classic Community at it's best!!!
Britta as a grief counselor was great and I really liked this episode. Dan Harmon wasn't kidding when he said this would be a dark season for the show.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteAll of the Dean bits were awesome, but the rest of the episode wasn't quite enough for me to rate the episode above a "Great". Good episode though.
ReplyDeleteThe last group scene was really moving. I liked that a lot.
ReplyDeleteWondering what's up with the expulsion.
Also, while I like Chang well enough, he's such a caricature now. I honestly wouldn't be upset if he got written for the (hopefully!) fourth season.

One of the weaker eps of the season but Troy's reaction to everything made up for that, also the ending was lovely
