Only two shows were cancelled for me - Alcatraz and The River. I usually lose more. However, I guess if we count shows that ended (Chuck, Desperate Housewives) it evens itself out.
only GCB for me.. actually there are shows i wanted to be cancelled that sadly wernt! Body Of Proof.. Private Practice.. Up All Night.. Whitney Gossip Girl.. and so many more!!
Everything I wanted to see renewed got renewed. Except TSC. Which is kinda sad, because I thought that show had the most potential to grow with a second season.
5/5...Supernatural,Game Of Thrones,Spartacus,Vampire Diaries and catching up to Once Upon a Time! In this case, not watching too many shows really helps... : )
Considering I love a lot of shows that do badly in the ratings I still managed to have a great renewal season! Fringe, Community, Up All Night, Cougar Town, Parks and Rec all shows which should be dead and aren't! Only lost Awake which hurts but isn't the end of the world and Alcatraz which really never lived up to its potential
Well, these were the new shows that I tried out and started to get into this year:
Terra Nova, Alcatraz, Missing, Once Upon a Time, Playboy Club, Ringer, Revenge, Awake, Person of Interest, and Grimm.
So I'm batting 4/10. On a positive note, most of my returning shows this year survived another year. I'm happily surprised that Fringe, Nikita and SPN will all be back again. And my favorite right now, The Walking Dead, will be back.
Almost all were renewed. The only show I cared about that was cancelled was Awake, and I knew that show was doomed after seeing the ratings of the premiere.
Not one upset for me! Everything renewed :) Only wish I had more eps of some of them! Not counting Chuck and DH in that though, wish I had more of them :(
50/50 They cancelled "Alcatraz", "Ringer", "Awake" and "Terra Nova", but "Person of Interest", "Once upon a Time", "Touch" and "Grimm" got their second seasons, so I'm not that much disappointed.
Not a bad year at all for me: 5:2 for renewals. Especially good news that Fringe is still around, plus Supernatural, Game of Thrones, Touch and Person of Interest. Only lost Alcatraz and Awake. But the latter really hurts, it was my favorite new show this year.
Great, only 3 shows, but I already knew that there was only a slim chance for renewal: TSC, Alcatraz and Pan Am.
Although it is great, it creates first world problems during upcoming season... too many promising new shows and so little time, since only 3 shows were deleted from my schedule =P
The Secret Circle, Pan Am, Alcatraz, GCB and Unforgettable was cancelled for me. But at least Supernatural !, Vampire Diaries, Castle, Heartland, Body of Proof, Nikita, Hawaii 5 O, Hart of Dixie, NCIS (obvi.) , Revenge, Blue Bloods, Greys Anatomy... and i think ive lost count. lol. i have no life apparently...
my shows actually did pretty well. with communities joyous return, all of my shows have been renewed (even if fringe is only for a final season). i can't wait to see supernatural, vampire diaries, fringe, once upon a time, community and psych all again next season funnily though, basically all of the new shows from this last season that i had been planning on watching when i got back home in the second half of this year were cancelled. at least ow i know i chose the right ones to watch first. i wanted to watch alcatraz, awake, i saw a bit of secret circle. now i guess i don't have to. still, winning all round for my shows so i've had a week of good news :D
got, justified, the mentalist, white collar, the walking dead, ouat, sherlock holmes, ncis have all solid ratings so no worry there.
Falling skies has been renewed early and I had a strong feeling SPN would be ok
The only shows I was really afraid for were Fringe and Homeland. Mostly Fringe in fact. Homeland was ok but I wouldn't have been too sad if it was cancelled.
My nieces will be very sad to hear gossip girl and desesperate housewives have been cancelled. They love those show.
Nearly all my shows were renewed, actually just one show that I liked was cancelled. I was really pissed though because I can't believe that crap like BOP got renewed while GCB, which was really funny and good got cancelled. They even set up everything so nicely for the second season making it so depressing.
Great year for me. Fringe (yay!), SPN, H50, Bones, Castle, Cougar Town and CSI: NY all renewed! Awake and Missing are the cancellations that stopped it being an awesome year.
My shows did extremely well, thank you for asking !
All the bubble shows I love got renewed :
Fringe ? Renewed (for a final season - I love that the show gets that big conclusion and ends with 100 eps) ! The Good Wife ? Renewed (Fridays aside it was CBS's lowest rated drama, I wasn't that worried though) ! Nikita ? Renewed (and for 22 episodes, like Fringe that's a bit of a miracle - thank you, Secret Circle ?) ! Parks and Rec ? Renewed (my 2rd favorite comedy, future cornerstone of NBC's line up, got 22 eps) ! Raising Hope ? Renewed (my 3rd favorite comedy got 22 episodes, too) ! 30 Rock ? Renewed (season 6 was disappointing but I wanted the show to have a final season, it got it) ! Don't Trust the B ? Renewed (I don't think they've mentioned for how many episodes yet, though) ! Happy Endings ? Renewed (I haven't started season 2 yet, I'm giving the show a second chance) ! Cougar Town ? Renewed (on TBS for a fourth season, and a fifth season is more than likely) ! Southland ? Renewed (it's not on a big network but I'm glad this show always on the edge is still here) ! And Community ? Renewed, but I'm talking about my favorite comedy at the end of this message.
There are many more shows I love that got renewed but they weren't in particular danger.
Chuck and The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret ended on their own terms, so that's okay.
I trust Kyle Killen and Howard Gordon saw the cancellation coming (honestly, who didn't ?) and prepared a satisfying series finale for Awake. That's probably one of the few shows I will miss, with Breaking In (but when you think about it, we lost the show last August when they revamped it) and Death Valley (it was really fun).
In the end, the network that cancelled most of the series I loved is... HBO ! As incredible as it may sound, they've cancelled 4 shows : Luck, my dear Bored to Death, Hung, How to Make it in America (well, I didn't mourn that one) and 2 shows ended (Entourage and the awesome Eastbound & Down) while the fate of one of them is still unknown (the magnificent Curb your Enthusiasm). That's 7 shows !
I won't miss Ringer, The Firm, The River, Alcatraz, Terra Nova or Pan Am.
BUT there's renewed and "renewed" : I wanted a 22-episode 4th season of Community on Thursdays at 8 behind the final season of 30 Rock. I got a 13-episode 4th season of Community on Fridays at 8:30pm after Shitney. This is NOT the same
So in the end that may be my biggest disappointment in this Upfront period, that Community is sent to die in duo with the crappiest show on NBC. Unless there's a miracle, like all the new sitcoms launched on Tuesdays and Wednesdays fail miserably, forcing NBC to put Community back on a night when people watch TV and order a back 9 because you have to program something. Long shot, but I have faith.
I love TSC and I don't understand how Hart of Dixie won out over it?? Don't get me wrong I like HOD but.....I like TSC better! I wanted to see what the Australian guy was all about!
Oh i know! I'm trying..maybe Revolution will do it,but wow that's going to be some mighty big shoes to fill.Honestly those kind of shows do not come along very often.Fringe will be the hardest for me,and you should have seen me with In Plain Sight, and now with House....Thanks number0six :)
not bad for me!! a few of my shows got cancelled but others that i was worried about such as fringe and hart of dixie got renewed so it works out for me
Don't know if Chuck counts as this year or last year, but if you count it as this year I only lost two shows, Chuck and House. (well Terra Nova as well, but that is not even worth mentioning) Was sure 30 Rock would be cancelled, glad it isn't.
Terra Nova, Ringer and Alcatraz were the shows I lost, but I got to keep my favourites (such as Supernatural, Fringe, TVD, Nikita, The Mentalist and Castle). Therefore, I think it was a great year!
GCB was my only loss and it wasn't near the top of my list, so I'm good for next year. Revolution looks like it could be really good. I'm looking forward to next season.
Alcatraz, Allen Gregory, Are You There Chelsea, Awake, CSI: Miami, Pan Am, Ringer, Terra Nova, The Finder, The Playboy Club, The River.
10 of those are new shows. I can't even believe CSI: Miami. It's been on for so long. It's hard to watch a show for ten seasons just to see it get canceled. This is worse than Smallville. I KNEW that was ending. Sure, I'm behind on it, and now I probably won't bother catching up, but I still enjoyed the show.
Allen Gregory made me (figuratively) piss my pants. Jonah Hill is hilarious. I guess I knew cancellation was coming. The humour was crude. A little kid trying to bang the old, fat principal? I can see how FOX could find that offensive.
I don't know why I continued to watch Are You There Chelsea every week. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. I won't miss it.
I fell behind watching Awake. I kept saying I'd watch it on the Sunday after it aired but I never got around to it. The premise was interesting but I didn't care for some of the actors.
Only watched the pilot of Pan Am. It wasn't bad. I did want to continue watching it but I just couldn't find the time.
Now Ringer was a show I was excited to watch every week. Mainly for Nestor Carbonell. I'm quite sad that it won't be returning.
I thought Terra Nova was popular? FOX are bastards. They keep cancelling popular science fiction shows and they wonder why ratings are low. The only thing that bugged me about the series was the amount of Australian actors. I know it's filmed here but I hate the accents. Also, I would have liked to see B stories set in the show's present day.
Why did they have to cancel it before I got to see the last episode? This always happens. Now I probably won't even watch it. Jeez. It could have had more characters from Bones in it.
Only got to see 2/3 of The Playboy Club episodes. I enjoyed it. Was shocked to see it cancelled. How many shows are on now with so many hothothot ladies?
I thought The River was amazing. I hate the fact that it ended on a cliffhanger. Sorta. I would have liked some closure.
I'm glad most of my other shows are returning. I.e. 30 Rock, American Dad, Bones, Community, Family Guy, Fringe, Glee, How I Met Your Mother, Mike and Molly, Modern Family, New Girl, Once Upon a Time, Person of Interest, Rules of Engagement, Smash, The Big Bang Theory, The Cleveland Show, The Office, The Simpsons, Touch, Two and a Half Men, and 2 Broke Girls.
I'm sad that House, Fringe, and 30 Rock are ending next season. And I also thought Rules of Engagement and Two and a Half Men were certain to be canceled.
I'm looking forward to this year's new shows. I'm already predicting which ones will be cancelled…
All of my shows was renewed except The Secret Circle. Last year it was Hellcats. I hope it isn't gonna be a pattern for me with The CW canceling one of my shows every year..
I lost a bunch of shows I really liked. A few I expected, but there were a couple that I'd be willing to try and convince an exec to change their minds about. I'd argue for The River and GCB. I'm bummed about losing The Finder and Ringer. Really happy Nikita got picked up. Was expecting that to be canceled. Thrilled it wasn't.
most likey xD so far I want 2 watch ... Infamous, Chicago fire, Guys with Kids, 1600 Penn, Revolution, Go On, Hannibal, Save Me, Do No Harm, Arrow, Cult, First Cut, Beauty & the Beast, Elementary, Made in New Jersey, Partners (maby Vegas), Goodwin Games, The Following, 666 Park Ave., How to live with your Parents, Last Resort, Mistresses, Defiance, Continuum, Longmire, L.A. Noir and Game Change .... lets hope a few will make it :)
Lost Ringer, Awake, Alcatraz, Unforgettable and Harry's Law this year. But Modern Family, The Middle, Cougar Town, Community, Parks and Rec, The Office, 30 Rock, Touch, Fringe, Body of Proof, CSI, Bones and many more are safe!
I think they made some bad cancellations this year. Didn't give things a chance, etc.
I'm so sick of the reality TV crap, I refuse to watch any of it, like we *need* another singing competition? Or more bad dating shows that never produce a real end product.
my shows actually did pretty well. with communities joyous return, all of my shows have been renewed (even if fringe is only for a final season). i can't wait to see supernatural, vampire diaries, fringe, once upon a time, community and psych all again next season funnily though, basically all of the new shows from this last season that i had been planning on watching when i got back home in the second half of this year were cancelled. at least ow i know i chose the right ones to watch first. i wanted to watch alcatraz, awake, ringer, i saw a bit of secret circle. now i guess i don't have to. still, winning all round for my shows so i've had a week of good news :D
I really liked the first couple of episodes of Awake. realised it was going to get canned from the get go barring some miracle, decided I'm going to watch it all in the summer hoping it gets a series finale worthy ending.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Only two shows were cancelled for me - Alcatraz and The River. I usually lose more. However, I guess if we count shows that ended (Chuck, Desperate Housewives) it evens itself out.
ReplyDeleteSuch a good year, all my shows renewed (bar Desperate Housewives but we knew that a year ago)
ReplyDeleteSMASH, Hart of Dixie, Gossip Girl, Vampire Diaries, Once Upon A Time, Revenge, Modern Family, Glee, The Voice. Yep, I'm good to go for next season.
ReplyDeleteonly GCB for me.. actually there are shows i wanted to be cancelled that sadly wernt!
ReplyDeleteBody Of Proof.. Private Practice.. Up All Night.. Whitney Gossip Girl.. and so many more!!
Awesome! All my shows were renewed this year :)
ReplyDeleteEverything I wanted to see renewed got renewed. Except TSC. Which is kinda sad, because I thought that show had the most potential to grow with a second season.
ReplyDeleteGreat! Almost all of them;)
ReplyDelete5/5...Supernatural,Game Of Thrones,Spartacus,Vampire Diaries and catching up to Once Upon a Time!
ReplyDeleteIn this case, not watching too many shows really helps... : )
Don't wish for cancellations, it will bring bad karma to your shows next year.
ReplyDeletenearly all were renewed, TSC and Ringer got cancelled! but the rest continue!
ReplyDeleteFor the most part, most of my fav shows were renewed. I am furious that Alcatraz, the River and CSI Miami got cancelled.
ReplyDeleteRinger was the only show I lost but I'd fallen behind on it anyway
ReplyDeleteCommunity lives on!!
ReplyDeleteI lost half of my Sunday (watched ABC, recorded The Good Wife and Harry's Law) The Finder and Unforgettable.
ReplyDeleteAt least Body Of Proof got renewed, so I have something to watch at that time.
Great.Only show I lost was ringer.The SImpsons,Once Upon a Time,Revenge,Hawaii five-O,The Vampire Diaies,Nikita all renewed.
ReplyDeleteAlcatraz, was the only cancelled show I watched, I was worried about Community, Fringe and Cougar Town but they all got renewed.
ReplyDeleteMost of the shows I watch are coming back but I watch a large volume of TV programs so that was bound to be the case anyway.
ReplyDeleteSecret circle for me and ringer I'm surprised that raising hope survived
ReplyDeleteI lost about 10 shows I watch, but all the pilots on every network look fantastic.
ReplyDelete:) All my shows are coming back
ReplyDelete-SPN
-Heartland
-Grimm
-Castle
-OUAT
Well, these were the new shows that I tried out and started to get into this year:
ReplyDeleteTerra Nova, Alcatraz, Missing, Once Upon a Time, Playboy Club, Ringer, Revenge, Awake, Person of Interest, and Grimm.

The Good Wife is coming back!
ReplyDeleteAll of my shows have been renewed! This is a first for me.
ReplyDeleteOnce Upon A Time
Fringe
Supernatural
Nikita
Criminal Minds
Community
Hawaii Five-O
Smash, Up All Night, Whitney, Community, Hawaii 5-O...this show must go ON!
ReplyDeleteAlmost all were renewed. The only show I cared about that was cancelled was Awake, and I knew that show was doomed after seeing the ratings of the premiere.
ReplyDeleteNot one upset for me! Everything renewed :) Only wish I had more eps of some of them!
ReplyDeleteNot counting Chuck and DH in that though, wish I had more of them :(
lol .. but seriously!! i wanted devious maids and glided lilys!! :(!
ReplyDeleteAll my show are coming back...OUAT....TGW...GA...TBBT...2BG!!
ReplyDeleteA few shows I watched were cancelled but they deserved to be....Just because I watch a show does not make it good!
ReplyDeleteReally the only show I would have renewed was Alcatraz since I think it started to hit in the last few episodes, but I won't miss it very much.
Next year will be harder with Breaking Bad and Fringe ending.... who knows about Mad Men.
I watch nearly many shows and only TSC got cancelled but I didn't like it anymore anyway so no big loss
ReplyDeletethe secret circle season 2
ReplyDelete50/50 They cancelled "Alcatraz", "Ringer", "Awake" and "Terra Nova", but "Person of Interest", "Once upon a Time", "Touch" and "Grimm" got their second seasons, so I'm not that much disappointed.
ReplyDeleteNot a bad year at all for me: 5:2 for renewals. Especially good news that Fringe is still around, plus Supernatural, Game of Thrones, Touch and Person of Interest. Only lost Alcatraz and Awake. But the latter really hurts, it was my favorite new show this year.
ReplyDeleteSupernatural - Season 8, 24 episodes???? Oh yeah.
ReplyDeleteGreat, only 3 shows, but I already knew that there was only a slim chance for renewal: TSC, Alcatraz and Pan Am.
ReplyDeleteAlthough it is great, it creates first world problems during upcoming season... too many promising new shows and so little time, since only 3 shows were deleted from my schedule =P
Fairly Ok.... didn't lose too many but the ones I did kinda hurt...
ReplyDeleteThe Secret Circle, Pan Am, Alcatraz, GCB and Unforgettable was cancelled for me.
ReplyDeleteBut at least Supernatural !, Vampire Diaries, Castle, Heartland, Body of Proof, Nikita, Hawaii 5 O, Hart of Dixie, NCIS (obvi.) , Revenge, Blue Bloods, Greys Anatomy... and i think ive lost count. lol. i have no life apparently...
my shows actually did pretty well. with communities joyous return, all of my shows have been renewed (even if fringe is only for a final season). i can't wait to see supernatural, vampire diaries, fringe, once upon a time, community and psych all again next season
ReplyDeletefunnily though, basically all of the new shows from this last season that i had been planning on watching when i got back home in the second half of this year were cancelled. at least ow i know i chose the right ones to watch first. i wanted to watch alcatraz, awake, i saw a bit of secret circle. now i guess i don't have to.
still, winning all round for my shows so i've had a week of good news :D
i thought it was 23 (which is still a win) but i'm not complaining about 24!!!
ReplyDeletebad as always 24 cancellations this year just like last (25) year
ReplyDeleteHappy viewer here. All renewed! :-)
ReplyDeletegot, justified, the mentalist, white collar, the walking dead, ouat, sherlock holmes, ncis have all solid ratings so no worry there.
All my shows were renewed except for Awake..and it's so sad:(
ReplyDeleteThe only 2 I lost were The Secret Circle and The Finder so I was very lucky this year
ReplyDeleteNearly all my shows were renewed, actually just one show that I liked was cancelled. I was really pissed though because I can't believe that crap like BOP got renewed while GCB, which was really funny and good got cancelled.
BUT there's renewed and "renewed" :

I lost only Awake, but it is a great show, so I am sad about it.
ReplyDeleteGot Fringe - that's all that matters. Didn't lose much sleep over the shows I did lose.
ReplyDeleteI lost Awake,In Plain Sight, and Eureka, The Finder, Prime Suspect and Alcatraz.I voted ok but looking at it now,i realize i should have voted poor....
ReplyDeleteThank the lord Fringe made it, i would be catatonic right now if it didn't.
I love TSC and I don't understand how Hart of Dixie won out over it?? Don't get me wrong I like HOD but.....I like TSC better! I wanted to see what the Australian guy was all about!
ReplyDeleteGG wasn't cancelled, but they will only have an 11 episode season. :) I love that show too.
ReplyDeleteXD
ReplyDeleteJust breathe deeply ...and quickly find a new TVfix because next season is Fringe last one :-/
Oh i know! I'm trying..maybe Revolution will do it,but wow that's going to be some mighty big shoes to fill.Honestly those kind of shows do not come along very often.Fringe will be the hardest for me,and you should have seen me with In Plain Sight, and now with House....Thanks number0six :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome except for Awake. But Awesome none the less since Fringe is going to have an ending.
ReplyDeleteAll my shows got renewed :D
ReplyDeleteOnce, Nikita, Community, P&R, Game of Thrones, Fringe, Revenge, and many more :)
I guess Chuck ending would count as one cancellation :S
not bad for me!! a few of my shows got cancelled but others that i was worried about such as fringe and hart of dixie got renewed so it works out for me
ReplyDeleteDon't know if Chuck counts as this year or last year, but if you count it as this year I only lost two shows, Chuck and House. (well Terra Nova as well, but that is not even worth mentioning)
ReplyDeleteWas sure 30 Rock would be cancelled, glad it isn't.
How bad is your luck? xD
ReplyDeleteI only hope you don't watch the same programs I do this year :P
Only lost Harry's Law and Awake for me, pretty good considering the chances going in.
ReplyDeletesame here. Really don't watch much else. I did watch Unforgettable but that got cancelled too.
ReplyDeleteTerra Nova, Ringer and Alcatraz were the shows I lost, but I got to keep my favourites (such as Supernatural, Fringe, TVD, Nikita, The Mentalist and Castle). Therefore, I think it was a great year!

I'm looking forward to this year's new shows. I'm already predicting which ones will be cancelled…
All of my shows were renewed so I'm happy.
ReplyDeleteRIP
ReplyDeleteAlcatraz
Awake
GCB
A rare year. Everything I wanted made it. I'm not even sure that has happened before.
ReplyDeleteAll of my shows was renewed except The Secret Circle. Last year it was Hellcats. I hope it isn't gonna be a pattern for me with The CW canceling one of my shows every year..

soooo agree on this one they should get rid of ALL reality TV shows live on TV would be soooooo much better without them
ReplyDeletei just lost 2 series in which i was the secret circle was going to be renewed and th ringer
ReplyDeleteCool for GG. Do you know if it will be the last season?

Watching new shows is like playing at the lottery.
ReplyDeleteI didn't watch playboll club but I was surprised it was cancelled so soon. I tought the hot hot hot girls ;-) factor would draw more males viewers.
I watched Terra Nova.I Love Scifi but honestly TN was bad. I dropped it before it was cancelled.
Producers need to give a show more time before ending it.
My elder niece favorite show. She won't be happy :-/
ReplyDeleteAt least a short final season give the writers the opportunity to make a proper ending.
Thanks
nearly all were renewed, TSC and Ringer got cancelled! but the rest continue!
ReplyDeleteI lost half of my Sunday (watched ABC, recorded The Good Wife and Harry's Law) The Finder and Unforgettable.
ReplyDeleteAt least Body Of Proof got renewed, so I have something to watch at that time.
my shows actually did pretty well. with communities joyous return, all of my shows have been renewed (even if fringe is only for a final season). i can't wait to see supernatural, vampire diaries, fringe, once upon a time, community and psych all again next season
ReplyDeletefunnily though, basically all of the new shows from this last season that i had been planning on watching when i got back home in the second half of this year were cancelled. at least ow i know i chose the right ones to watch first. i wanted to watch alcatraz, awake, ringer, i saw a bit of secret circle. now i guess i don't have to.
still, winning all round for my shows so i've had a week of good news :D
The Finder and Alcatraz.
ReplyDeleteI really liked the first couple of episodes of Awake. realised it was going to get canned from the get go barring some miracle, decided I'm going to watch it all in the summer hoping it gets a series finale worthy ending.
XD
ReplyDeleteJust breathe deeply ...and quickly find a new TVfix because next season is Fringe final one :-/
