ABC picked up Last Resort an international action-thriller-soap that follows the story of establishing a new society in a world held hostage by the crew of a ballistic missile submarine. Basically a U.S. nuclear sub crew refuses orders to fire their missiles and escape to a NATO outpost and declare themselves the smallest nuclear nation.
I'm really looking forward to this. Any series from Shawn Ryan is pretty much guaranteed to be quality.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I think of a cross between Jericho and Falling Skies (without the aliens) when I try to imagine what this series will be like. It'll be interesting to see when it actually premieres. I'm looking forward to this one.

ReplyDeleteLast Resort and Mastermind were the two pilots I was most excited about, I'm glad they both got picked up.

ReplyDeleteDarn glad ABC does something with this amazing pilot. Read the script. It was quite good. Like a show like 24 mixed with the tropical island from Lost, with lots of subplots coming up and dangerous stuff.
I wrote a bunch of things for my norwegian site on it. It`s written in Norwegian, but it has a lot of pictures i got from twitter and such. Fun to see.
