    Arizona. Private Practice getting shortened season means Kate Walsh will be back sometime near midseason on Grey's; which means they're creating spot for her on the show no need (and money) for Arizona.

    i think it's a mix of emotions and Teddy will finally accept that Owen did what he was supposed to do about Henry and forgive him and be there for him when he's worried about Cristina. I don't think she would cry that bad only for Cristina, i mean, she cares about her because she's her resident and all but it's not like they're really close friends

     Teddy started freaking out about Cristina last week thinking Cristina was leaving Seattle Grace the two of them have become quite close,i think she is that worried and that upset over her...We agree to disagree.  :)

    I think they are pushing the Calzona angle too hard for it to actually be Arizona. We have the Callie "I'll never leave" Torres voiceover, the focus on the promos, the intentional lack of information from Shonda Rhimes...

    From what I hear, many regular viewers - i.e. not obsessed with slow-motion promos and what not - barely realized Lexie was on the plane by the end of Migration. My money is still on Lexie, she has her whole family on site and her soul mate. Arizona, on the other had, has only Mark, and even then...

    It was Teddy who put Cristina on that plane to be the sole cardiothoracic representative for Seattle Grace. This was part of Teddy's attempt to woo Cristina to stay at SGMW. There is a scene in the corridor, where Teddy is telling her that it is unheard of that an attending will send a Fellow to be the sole representative. She is crying because she put Cristina on that plane.

     Shonda said in the EW-interview that the people at the hospital won't learn about the plane crash until the near end of the episode, so I doubt that she's crying because of Cristina.

    Curve ball.... April dies. There's not guarantee that somebody on the plane dies, maybe that's a big distraction from the poor girl who has lost all her job offers, failed her boards and is questioning her faith which she said was the only relationship she relied on. Sounds like a candidate for a suicide to me. Everybody else hears about the plane crash and gets all wrapped up in making sure their friends are okay and nobody notices poor Kepner slip away...

      Q-What about Callie & Arizona?
      S- You get to see them working together as a couple in a way that's really lovely. And then in the finale,there's nothing i can say.

     This was posted May 11 2012 here "Lastest from EW-Various Shows. if you scroll down you will see a question from Sue that says"What the hell just happened on Grey's? (I believe the question is on the second page) You will see in Blue wording"Talking to Shonda Rihems". This will lead you to the whole interview on everyone,including Lexie,April,and everyone else.

     I believe its always the old trick,but this time its the way she goes about talking about everyone else.. But really who knows? For all we know its not even someone on the plane,but someone back at the hospital,like yes April and another doctor...Its getting to the point where i just want to see it so the guessing ends.This is all anyone anywhere is talking about,and that's fine state your case but don't shove it down someone elses throat,or cry i don't want it to be this or that..ugh! Dainel in no way am i saying you are doing this,so please don't take offense. I'm tired and cranky sorry!  :)  Rant over...  :P

    Well, I think a good death would be April OR Jackson and a better death would be April AND Jackson!! For the rest of the cast I didn't want any of them to die, not even Teddy or Owen, they just need a good story!! So, no die for Arizona and Lexie!! However, by the promos, I'm guessing Lexie!!

    I just went frame by frame to watch this promo since there are so many quick flashes. Just a few overall thoughts based on this promo... Based on hearing the first few sentences, it sounds like Callie will be doing the pre-and-post monologues for the show. Also, it is very clear that the character who will die is one of the six in the plane. So, any considerations for characters not on the place are incorrect.

    There is one frame showing Derek. He has a cut on his forehead, and it looks like his left arm is trapped under something. 

    Arizona sitting up against the plane so they are able to free her. 

    All the frames of Lexi are with her still under the plane, and there is one frame where her eyes seem to freeze upward even though Mark is there with her. So, it looks like Lexi is the one to die. 

    In Shonda's interview with the Hollywood Reporter, in reference to Mark and Lexi, she said, "I think we are going to see that come to a head in a way that's beautiful and possibly bittersweet and kind of lovely."

    Am i the only one who's getting more and more worried about Callie?
    I think that the "unexpected death" will not involve the six ones on the plane, it would be too obvious and we know that this isn't Shonda's style.
    Callie narrating the promo, no words about Calzona in the finale, "Don't ever leave me" in 8x23...i don't know,i have a bad feeling.

    I feel a trick coming on.  We see 3 (Lexie, Arizona, Derek) of the six trapped and injured in some way and the other 3 (Meredith, Christina, Mark) trying to save them.  I now think it will one of the 3 we're assuming are ok.  If any one of them had some type of internal injury I think they would keep their mouth shut and focus on saving the others.  I have a bad feeling its Mark that dies.

    Has anyone thought about the fact that it might be someone NOT on the plane?  Like April? While she is religous and would probably see suicide as a sin, I for some reason can't rule it out. I mean she has NOTHING right now, she didn't pass her boards, SGH is firing her.. I'm so conflicted on who it could be.. But I was also thinking what everyone is, Lexie or Arizona. Considering Arizona had that whole "don't ever leave" talk to Callie before she yelled at Alex and left in his place. Then Callie will blame Alex all next season because he didn't tell Arizona about Hopkins.

    I don't think that it would be too obvious if its Lexie...yes, it seems obvious to those of us who freeze-frame this promo, but the quick snippet of her looking very dead, flashes by so quickly in this promo, that I think it almost definitely is her. The red herring is Derek being missing.

    I would prefer Arizona to die over Lexie (though I'd rather keep them both)...and there are some reasons why it might be Arizona...but my gut is telling me Lexie.

    Thought the same with those freeze frame's, Lexie look's like she has closed her eye's, Arizona is leaning up against the the stairs as though she has been freed and Derek look's like his arm is definately stuck under something - squashed hand unable to operate again? Let's hope Mer and Cris find him and save the day.
