I loved Gary Unmarried, 8 Simple Rules, and Samantha Who?, so yay! I'm pretty happy about this.
ReplyDeletewhat about the creator of scrubs and cougar town? will he stay on the show?
ReplyDeleteYes, he's staying on.
ReplyDeleteNever watched Gary Unmarried, only passingly saw a few episodes of 8 Simple Rules (but overall enjoyed it), and have just started watching Samantha Who? for the first time (though I'm kind of loving it so far), so I'm not too disappointed by this news either.
ReplyDeleteHaven't watched any of the shows he has been on :/ Hope the presence of Bill will keep the show on track.
ReplyDeleteNot seen Gary Unmarried or Samantha Who but I used to like 8 Simple Rules when I was younger.
ReplyDeleteHope he makes it work!
I've only watched a few of his past projects and they were decent, but definitely not in the style that Bill Lawrence had for CT and Scrubs, so it'll be interesting to see how this will go if the new showrunner will make any noticeable changes. I guess BL will be around as a creative consultant, so it'll probably remain the same.
ReplyDeleteI did enjoy Samantha Who? but I'm not too familiar with the guy overall... but I hope he does the show credit!
ReplyDeleteWhy him over Cougartown co-creator Kevin Beigel?
ReplyDeleteWell the guy has some good pedigree and as he was handpicked by the already excisting PTB I can say I'm happy. :-D
