wow... this is a really cool concept for a show... I am guessing copper refers to what we call cop today. Cuz I remember reading somewhere that cop originates from the word copper that was used to mean police.
Yep, your right arun279! that is how they became copper!
Hay, how come you did come over and introduce yourself? And tell us alittle bit about you the shows, and heck anything you would like to say...did you read any of them?
I feel the same way. The show and its concept look good but none of these characters seem to stand out at all. It would be a shame for something like this to fail because of bad casting.
I hate to admit it, but I was also feeling a bit bothered by the fact that none of the actors (not even the lead) seemed to really stand out. I was hoping it was just my impression due to the short duration of the trailer, yet if more people have also realized that it is not a good sign.
I still hope that the show will be good and am looking forward to it.
I believe it's a variation of the latin word Capere to grab or frisk, the word was shortened to cap then to cop.It also has to do with the copper color of there shields worn by the NYPD officers, and also the early color of police and sheriffs in the western towns, cities.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Sorry, i dont see Copper here. Just the shortned trailer for JJ Abrams new show on NBC.
