Well that was explodey and fighty, so i am going to try it. Also i don't know whether it was the atmosphere of the trailer or my mood, but the sudden bath-guy-ambushed-with-plastic-bag scene made me really laugh.
Is that the young lady from Criminal Minds and that soap with the Devil? Shoot. Research, ahoy. If it is her I like the hair color change. At least she looks believable (as opposed to some other 20-something casting I've been seeing this season.
This does look good! I have to see if I can find a way to watch it.
I was looking for a summer replacement to take the edge off of my Lost Girl addiction, but I'm still wary. The fights weren't that bad, but the girl is a little annoying and I still don't understand the premise. I thought they kept jumping through time, not one girl goes back in time.
A detective from 65 years in the future is trapped in the past (our present day). While finding a way back home she's also tracking down the terrorist organization (called "Liber8") who was sent to the past with her. Helping her track down this terrorist cell is a kid genius and a meathead cop.
Thanks guys! I think I read the original promos on Showcase wrong and got myself confused. I thought the whole group was from the future and they went bouncing around in the past trying to stop a group of terrorists. Maybe I read part of it and substituted in Quantum Leap when I got distracted. Is it wrong or just arrogant that I like my plot better?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Seeing this trailer reinforces the opinion I've held about this show for awhile now. Everything about this looks decent except for Victor Webster.
ReplyDeleteWow that score was annoying and overpowering!
ReplyDeleteThankfully the episode is not like with overpowering score music.... You can hear the dialog easily.
At least you will be able to enjoy him getting his ass kicked! XD

ReplyDeleteIndeed. "Generic meathead cop" getting his ass kicked was enjoyable to see. :)

Yeah, that's her. Rachel Nichols.

ReplyDeleteYeah, the show looks good, but Victor Webster is, as usuall, the weak link. He is just SOOO BLAND.
