Looks like a good show. But really, did they have to get a sex scene in there right away, in the pilot? Hope it's not going to be triangles all over the place.
The last decent new procedural that NBC launched was Mercy and no one watched it so I don't expect anything different from Chicago Fire. I think this show will end up like Chase. The cast is good so there will be a solid sampling of people who will check out the first few episodes then most people will drop it.
NBC has had a lot of trouble getting any procedural dramas off the ground in recent years. It seems that the problem is never the cast and always the writing. Once again, as I'm viewing this trailer, I see a very reputable cast with what looks like very bland dialogue and nothing in the footage that really grabs me. If NBC isn't careful, this could end up like...
Prime Suspect, Law & Order: Los Angeles, Mercy, Trauma, Undercovers, Chase, etc.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Oh my gosh! Hizzoner Rahm Emmanuel!

I'll check it out. Of course they had Kinney shirtless and Spencer had a sex scene, LOL. They know what demographic they're courting.
ReplyDeleteI'll check it out.If i can sit through 25 minutes of Common Law i think i can make this, unless i turn this off as well..
ReplyDeleteI'll check it out though its not really my thing, just hope it turns out to be good because NBC need a hit.
ReplyDeletethis looks pretty good much better than trauma chase etc

ReplyDeleteThe music in the end is rather pretentious, but I'll watch for the eyecandy, haha

ReplyDeleteJesse Spencer with an American accent messes my brain up.
