    The episode should be called "Why we gave up trying", because that's what I felt the writers were showing the last couple of times that I tried to watch the show.

    One can summarize basically any episode as such:

    sex jokes + sexist jokes + stupid Jake jokes + pathetic Allan jokes + anything to shock (Evelyn sleeps with Walden, sleeps with the mother of Allan's girlfriend, Allan's girlfriend vomiting and having diarrhea, oral sex in the car while the mother of Allan's girlfriend watches, etc.)

    Of course nobody forces me to watch, and I don't watch it regularly anymore.
    Yet, now and then when I happen to be in front of the tv while it is on, I still catch some minutes in order to see if it has somewhat improved. I am not a crazy person that watches a show I don't like week after week just to complain about it, but now and then I still give it a shot. It was a light fun show (nevertheless very sexist) back in the day and sometimes I still hope that they can be better. It is weird when one watches a show kind of regularly and sees it's quality gradually decline until one can no longer watch it...I still try to give it the benefit of the doubt now and then but it hasn't been working for me.

    I stand by my words and think it seems the show has (for a while now) been written uninspiringly and with not much effort into it.

    it's still much better than the last few season with Charlie imo
    and they're even putting some storylines in

    The show has been in visible decline for the past couple of years with Charlie IMO. I am not saying that it al went downhill with Kutcher, I mean the show has gradually gotten worse.

    In -your- opinion Cathy.

    I still follow the show, and in -my- opinion, it's become funner with Walden. For the first several seasons with Charlie, each week was a matter of "Who will Charlie sleep with next?"

    My favorite characters on the show is and always has been, Alan and Bertha. Not a huge fan of the "pot smoking" Jake. He was funny at first, but his character has gradually gotten worse.
