I really thought it was Faye or Diana but I was going with Faye because of her crazy mom but man Diana i wonder what it will be like for her and her dark magic. And man when Charles finds out (it didnt look like he knew yet) thats just the ultimate step into his hatred for Blackwell i dont think there will ever be anything to stop that hatred. And why did Jane have to die!
I kinda figured if it would be Diana because in the Book Series Cassie and Diana become "adopted sisters" (best friends) because they were so much alike. There is some similarities to the book series and the show series. Like these Crystals forming together the Crystal Skull. In the book that is also brought up as an Old Master Tool which is very very powerful. The Show i think is much darker but there is alot of diffrences in between the 2 as well which is why i enjoy them both so much. I CANT BELIEVE JANE IS DEAD!!! OMG Bring Sweet Grandma Home only to DIE!!! WAT!?!?!
This show right here. Words cannot describe how much I loved tonight's episode.
I love that Diana is the other Blackwell child! "You're my sister". Did anyone else get goosebumps at the end, when Cassie said that? And the whole scene at the end between Jane/Charles/Blackwell was EPIC. Hate that Jane died, though.
I have to say, the scene between Faye and Blackwell was really touching. I felt bad for her, and I was glad she allowed a show of her vulnerability to him.
Okay, does anyone else ship Melissa/Adam after this episode? I do.
Speaking of Melissa, I'm glad she finally got an episode with plenty of screen time. She's an awesome character, and this episode proved that.
I also felt bad for Jake in this episode; it was a hard moment for him.
And last but not least, Callum is a crazy psycho. That's all he is.
From the beginning I eliminated Adam and Diana because we knew their fathers. Or we thought so. We didn't know much of Melissas parents. Or Jakes. Most fans (I guess) were considering Faye as the obvious candidate, since we knew Dawn had a thing for John. That is why I knew it wasn’t her. It would be too obvious.
John is hard to read and estimate. On one side he says he loved Amelia and he loves her daughter and wants to help her, protect her. And he IS helping the circle against the hunters. But on the other side he is just lying, cheating, killing, manipulating … Maybe it would be better to kick him out of town and ask some elders for help. They are not all saints. But I think still more trustworthy than John.
I just wonder, how he will explain to Cassie her grandmas corpse on the floor. He'll probably say it were the hunters. And considering the way she died, she will believe him. After all. The hunters tried to kill the circle the same way before.
I never read the books. Yet. No time. Are they good?
But form my experience with Vampire diaries, I'd say: Of course they are related. Basics.
On the TVD they capped some names and the major theme (a girl between two vampire brothers). And that's it. Everything else is different. So, of course there are differences between book and show at Secret circle.
They are best friends in the show too. And now they're sisters. One thing that is bugging me. Diana never showed any signs of dark magic. On the boat, when the witch hunters tried to kill them. Cassie used her dark magic to save them. Diana didn't. At the ball when Faye used voodoo to absorb the magic from the circle. Cassie was protected (probably by her dark magic), Diana wasn't.
By the birth dates Cassie is Older than Diana... perhaps because of that her powers are manifesting late? Someone said it true, promos do mislead. :P However I was inclined towards Melissa/Adam being other Blackwell. But this twist is welcomed. Moreover the relationship Cassie and Diana have is justifying for itself. As book is, may be future will pit these sisters against each other? Who knows! Though I do see a darker anti-witch in Cassie more and more.
They killed Grandma. :( Her presence was nice anchor point for Cassie. Poor Cassie. I'm sure all of this build up will result in avalanche effect later (praying SC is renewed). Overall this episode has managed to attract me for more.
I knew it wasn't Faye it was too obvious to be her, I thought It was Melissa or Diana, but when Melissa went into the mine then I knew it had to be Diana as drak magic can't enter the mine and when the circle came to Adams and Melissas rescue we didn't exactly see Diana go into the mine
This was a really good episode (one of the best, actually) but I fear that, just like Ringer, this show may be getting too good too late. The Secret Circle is finally starting to hit its stride and now the ratings are firmly in the cancellation range. It's a shame.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Yay!! It wasn't Faye!! But poor Diana!

ReplyDeleteAnyone else notice Adam and Melissa getting closer? They seem to be spending more time together.
ReplyDelete...if Adam hooks up with a third member of the circle, I will officially deem him a God. :P
I can't even put these women in a hotness ranking against each other.

I still think Fraye is the other Blackwell. I think John Blackwell set this all up to make it look like Diana have dark magic.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! They can't cancel this show!

Awesome, intense, revealing! This show is great and deserves a lot ore seasons.
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
ReplyDeleteThey better stay away from romantic territory
ReplyDeleteSo glad it wasn't Faye, it would have been too obvious!!
ReplyDeletedidn't see that one coming, really wanted it to be Faye though
ReplyDeleteDamn it, the one night I don't watch, after months of sufferings with the boredom, it gets good, off to The CW website to watch I go

ReplyDeleteI fucking love The Secret Circle and this episode rocked, I need at least 6 seasons of this show, come on CW.

ReplyDeleteI know. I watch(ed) both Ringer and TSC. I'd hate it if both were cancelled. They both deserve second chances.
