seriously Richard my heart break for u and Adele OMG wow that girl was just whatever we she spilled she had a baby Bailey was tweaking and ubber emotional wow
I live in Germany and I stayed up the whole night just to see the episode. And I really have to say it! This episode was heartbreaking, amazing, emotional...just sooo damnit intense!! I loved it. Though, I hope Meredith won't leave Seattle because that would mean that Ellen Pompeo will leave the show and THAT would lead to Patrick Dempsey leaving and we wouldn't get to see this gorgeous little girl Zola anymore. And by the way, I absolutely love this website! Keep up the great work!!!
Awesome episode, this season has been in a totally different zone the game has stepped up. I want everyone to return, even if they are trying to convince us that they are leaving. Boston seemed a little obvious for Meredith since Ellen Pompeo is a Boston girl. Look forward to next week the V Card is claimed wooooooo.
i loved it! it was great! but i kinda feel this job interviews popped out of nowhere ... i mean one epi they are just prepering for their boards and now they have job interviews too! "/ OR... does prepering for the oral boards means that you have to look for another jobs across the country?? i'm confused :(
This season has been really good so far. I must say, I really hope the core 5 will sign a contract and stay because I'm not sure I would still watch if they don't, but at least those interviews and fellowships elsewhere would make sense if they were to leave the show. It wouldn't be so out of nowhere.. like Izzie and Burke...
Alright, I understand that the whole missing kid thing freaked out the docs who were parents, but @ the thing w/ Tuck in the daycare, I can't believe that there wasn't a single parent there who couldn't have even attempted to convince Bailey to give it a minute to see if Tuck was in the area.
They're taking their boards to finish their fifth year, their residency will be over so know they are looking for where will be the best place for them to continue their work as surgeons. You always interview for your next place before you actually need it and they will probably be based on them passing their boards. Remember George interviewed with Seattle Pres before they took their intern exam for a place in their residency program
Question, Tuck had a nose bleed wouldn't the nurse told the other lady she was taking care of his nose, so when Bailey came looking for her son she would have been able to tell her he had a nose bleed. And further why wasn't Bailey informed that Tuck was having a nose bleed, why did it have to take her panicking over the fact she couldn't see her son in the daycare area, working in the hospital you would think the daycare would be run a lot better to inform the staff if their kids are sick (fictional or not).
Amaizing episode I think it was the best episode this season. Wonder which of these characters will come back next year. I and adore Kepner more and more with each episode.
Chief Webber and Adele's storyline is very moving.
The case with the kidnapped girl was so completely heartbreaking. I enjoyed the cuts to the residents on their interviews - it was cool to see what situation each of them was in and what interviews they managed to get. I thought it was kind of cute that Arizona was purposefully giving Alex bad interviews to keep him around haha.. Poor Avery, though - having renowned parents is tough. And oh my gosh, poor Webber. Adele is getting farther and farther away, and now she found someone else that she remembers day to day? That has to be so incredibly hard.
I think this episode might have pointed me a little more toward the fact that Cristina's going to be the one to fail her boards. It was nice to see her back to her old self, but after all that cocky confidence she displayed and all the gifts she received, I think it would have the greatest impact for her to be the one to fail.
I think that's what they've been trying to set up - they haven't finished contract negotiations yet, so they've got to set up situations where each of the original cast members are able to leave. It's sad, but it might be coming to an end! I would miss Zola, though, you're right.
The Richard/Adele storyline has been so heartbreaking, definitely Richard's strongest storyline over the 8 seasons, and one of the strongest this season.
It was great seeing the interviews, but I'm now absolutely terrified that someone might leave! Avery I can live without, but all the others need to stay! :( Especially Cristina and Mer. If either of them left... well, it wouldn't be the same.
I know!!! I live in germany too and the promos and pple's opinions are very interesting!! They make u think out of the box!! Love it!! Every friday and sat are just for my shows :-D
I really liked the episode as a whole. The storyline was very interesting, the character interactions and individual stories great (for the most part, big minus on Bailey, but I'll get to that later) and the way it was shot with all the interviews weaved in the narative, and the moving fastforwarding interesting... Great installment.
My favourite parts were Arizona/Alex (and I totally knew that's what she was doing!!! She is really horrible sometimes) and Teddy/Owen (she absolutelly deserved that verbal smackdown). Jackson/Mark was fun too! Mark being all proud and then all "Scolding Daddy!" with ear pulling and everything. I've also decided I love scenes of Mark, Derek and the girls in daycare.
Adele/Richard was heartbreaking!
Lastly I have to say Bailey didn't impress me. I thought she was over-reacting and over-emoting (and Chandra was overacting. I have to admitt 98% of the time I adore her and think she can't do no wrong, but in that 2% when she's overacting she totally 100% loses me. It's partly the story's fault too but she doesn't help with her performance at all)
Decent episode. - I thought that Arizona screwing with Alex's interviews was interesting. - April's interviewers were a bit short-sighted if you ask me. - Bailey needs to see someone professionally. She's too emotionally fragile. - Good case of the week and a job well done by Vanessa Marano. - This is the best Webber season this show has ever had. It's a shame it took Grey's this long to give the guy such great material.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Another awesome ep!! Can't wait for next one...Go April!!

ReplyDeleteAlso Meredith grew up in Boston when her mother left Seattle to get on with her life when Richard would not leave Adele.

I felt so bad for Richard, but i loved all the storylines in this episode.
ReplyDeleteI loved it! I felt so bad for Richard, but he did cheat on Adele for years, so...
ReplyDeleteAnd awww at Arizona trying to keep Alex!
I loved the PoTW storyline!

I think April's mistake was the rambly resume and I get how that might have put her interviewers off.
