    After the all the rave reviews, I am still disappointed with this show. Or maybe I just don't get it. These girls are suppose to be in my peer range but none of my friends or myself even resemble one of these girls at all. I don't find it deep or funny or even food for thought.

    I did not make it through the first episode...but tried the second for some odd reason. No change.
    I'm not a fan of Judd Apatow and having similar "humor" from a female perspective really did not make it any better for me. I wanted to give it a chance, but my initial impression was spot on. Not good.

    I'm disappointed too. I don't see the point of this show. It was suppose to be refreshing and insightful but it's one-dimensional and only problems this girls have are connected with sex. the idea of this girls being revolutionairy is blured. It's not funny at all. I will give it one more episode and then I'm done with it.

    Yeah, I was really apprehensive as well and with just cause and apparently proven right. I guess some critics really do get paid for their opinion.

    Yeah I'm usually all over HBO shows but this is just awful, in fact I find it kind of insulting how the critics are raving about it, they really will eat up anything HBO serves to them
