  1. I loved everything about it! I wish I could have been surprised about Star-Burns' death, though. It would have had more of an impact.

  2. RIP Straburns.

Loved the episode. I was never really into L&O but tonight's episode was funny.

  3. R.I.P. Starburns, even if I saw it coming. All in all, it was a fantastic episode. I love their tributes, and this one definitely didn't disappoint, even if I never watched much Law and Order.

  4. I was expecting Starburns death to be associated with Michael Ironside's character but the meth lab in his car exploding makes sense.  Poor Starburns.

Anyway, about the rest of the episode ...

-Loved all the bong bong transitions and Troy/Abed as buddy detectives (I smell spin off!).
-The return of Professor Kane, Neil, Todd, and Vicki
-Liked how Neil and Vicki were a couple
    -Michael Ironside ... enough said
-Jeff's line about Annie's misleading text: "You're about to be screwed in the Biology room."  I'll admit ... I would've fallen for that too ... mmm ... moving
-The little trial and Annie's dance was great
-Is it cause of Dan and Chevy's feud that Chevy is getting such small scenes - albeit funny scenes
-Why couldn't Magnitude have been the one to die?

  5. His name was Alex !

    RIP, Starburns (and RIP, yam).

I really didn't see that coming, I thought all the fuss about the death occuring on Community was defused when they revelead it was a yam that passed away. I thought they played us well into thinking it was an actual character that died when in fact it was just a potato (which we had not even seen until this episode !).

This was a brilliant episode, as usual. I can't say I was split-splitting, but there were very funny moments, like Starburn's pursuit ("Why do they always have to run ?"),Plus, it's one of the rare Community episodes to feature almost all the "little" characters that populate Greendale : it had Vicky, Neil, Garrett, Leonard, Sideburns, Magnitude, the janitor, We didn't see Britta and Chang much, but they delivered the laughs anyway, with Britta being quickly cut by the BOOM-BOOM when she started to talk about psychology, or Chang standing in the background of the courtroom (or biology classroom, whatever) as a security guard, he looked asleep to me.

And there was a The Wire reference, with Omar saying "A man's gotta have a code" (the dean's reaction is awesome, as was it reaction to men in uniform (or just Jeff saying "men in uniform" ^^)). Speaking of, there was a reflexion on the origin of the word "bunk" at the end of episode, that was pretty cool, too.

  6. Another Comm UNity masterpiece! The Starburns reveal felt a bit anti-climactic and is obvious set up for next week, but this ep was fantastic. Micheal K. Williams was exceptional.

  7. Community is on a roll right now, this was another EPIC episode. "This is not a courtroom!" had to be my favorite line, followed by Annie's series of immediately withdrawn questions, and the whole trial scene was amazing. Add in Troy and Abed brilliantly playing the detectives ("He's been a little on edge since we switched" made me do a spit-take), and this was one of the better episodes of the series (a tag I do not apply lightly given how many amazing episodes Community has done)

  8. STARBURNS! I'm oddly distraught, I forgot there was going to be a death.
Where were Britta, Pierce and Chang, I feel as though they haven't been around much in a while - hmmmm.

  9. I loved it!! Didn't know there was gonna be a death so that kind of came out of nowhere for me!

    Pop pop!

  10. Never been a watcher of L&O but I still found this episode hilarious
